As the title says, its an awesome crow caller. Its so cool and funny to see crows respond and interact with you when you use the crow caller. It works. Easy to use. The functionality of it definitely is there and works as intended. And it was relatively cheap and great value for the money.

    • Sounds weird...but it works
I bought this just in time for the crows in my neighborhood to decide my yard isn't cool anymore. It sounds a little more high pitched than I think it should be the crows to respond. The one day I had a couple crows around to test it out, they called back and within minutes had about 6-8 birds swoop down to visit. Hopefully, they'll cruise back later this year and I'll have more of a chance to try it out ... show more

We have chickens and sometimes hawks decide they want a chicken dinner. Apparently hawks don't like crows so I got this crow call to scare the hawks off. Just blow into it and the hawks usually fly off. It's small enough to keep in a pocket plus it's nice and loud. Real crows eventually show up and it's much appreciated by myself and the chickens who didn't get eaten. ... show more

I don't know anything about using bird calls. I bought this to assemble my crow army and I am not sure if they hate it or love it but when I use it, the crows all have something to say about it. Yes it works for calling them in.

I first thought this was for turkeys but luckily I IS for Crows, I’m trying to train the crows around my house to speak to me. So far they just fly around trying to find who is cawing at them. I have had a few caw back but I’m not sure what they said. Would be nice if the translations were a little better on the manual. It gives basic crow phrases like “come here” and “distress” but I find it hard to believe that is all that crows say. Sometimes it seems like they are having full conversations.     • A learning curve needed for proper use!
I was excited to find an actual crow call for sale, and while this is well made, it's little more than a loud kazoo. You need time and practice for it to sound like a real crow, (something which I can do with my voice alone.) I'm sure in the right hands with someone very familiar with crow calling, it works perfectly well, but don't think this is a pick-up & crows come immediately, kind of thing. it's not.
