Plenty of recorded calls. Long distance and very effective! Use it 3 times a month with family and friends to show them how we coyote hunt and how the different calls can show how and animal reacts to calls, territory, and hunger. It's light, blends well with terrain minus the tail which is what you want !. Anyone is capable of using it. Plenty of tutorials online if you dont know what calls work best for the hunt. Note to self.... don't turn on inside the house. It's extremely loud haha.

The Icotec Outlaw is an awesome e-caller. With 240 preloaded sounds and the built in decoy, it’s a great setup. The remote is easy to use and I like that you can play 2 sounds at once. It also has a coax button that you program which sound you want to use. Get one, you won’t regret it.

Value for money is not here for this unit. If you already have an older ICOtec Outlaw e-caller, note this: You are not able to share your old sounds files to this new ICOtec Outlaw unit. It has a SD card (located on rear-below the remote holder) which will not allow your already purchased ICOtec sound files to be loaded. This greatly reduces the value of this unit. You will have to purchase your sounds files again with the app. Your old Outlaw SD card will not function in this e-caller. I called ICOtec support and they confirmed this. We know most of the sound files which come with this e-caller will never be used hunting so purchasing new sound files is a must. Look for the older year models without the SD card located on the back of the unit. I will only use this unit as a backup until my old Outlaw e-caller completely dies. Not worth the money if you already have an older ICOtec Outlaw unit you’ve put sound files on. If not, you will need to purchase new sounds files anyway. If I would have known this, I wouldn’t have purchased this e-caller and purchased X24 FOXPRO. At least I would be purchasing sounds files not previously purchased. Just my 2 cents.

Pretty anxious for this to arrive, so I thought I would try the crows because I didn’t want to get the coyotes used to the sound if it actually worked before I was ready to thin them out a bit. The coyotes have been getting a little too close to the house this year for some reason, and with the new granddaughter and new pet I thought it was time to do something so I took a chance and ordered this I opened the box plugged all the batteries in sat on the porch, turned it on and had crows sitting in the trees within 60 seconds Couple hours later when I turned it on again around dusk, I had turkey talk with a gobbler 200 yards out across the stream we went back-and-forth for about 10 minutes till dark. I could hear him getting closer and closer. yeah, I’m going to have fun with this …. and maybe make the chickens and the pets a little safer. I can see why this has got such awesome reviews. I’m very very impressed and I would highly recommend it as a gift for any Hunter or someone who wants to get a little more familiar with wildlife.

First and foremost this call works amazing for bringing coyotes in, had them running in and tackling the call left and right. We have some well educated coyotes here which has made calling hard in the past, but the extensive call list and dual feature works awesome. I had a few issues with the call starting out that ended up being user error on my end but Icotec's customer service was super helpful, fast, on the ball and very professional. This call has been through pretty extreme weather conditions, with snow and negative temps and held up great. It takes a lot of batteries but the life is good and the signal range is great. Overall worth the money and would highly recommend this setup.
