Perfect for storing large boxes of different sizes, just adjusted the shelves to fit the size of boxes. Did need assistance to start the shelves, but once the first shelf was in place, I was able to put the rest in by myself (I am 70 years old). Box was too heavy for me to carry in the house, but I opened the box outside and was able to carry the pieces in a few at a time.

I've been wanting to buy one of these shelves for a while. Storage sucks in our kitchen. In general, this kindnof shelving is much preferred to the wire ones. The wire shelving is lighter but in turn can only handle lighter loads. These ones, i can load boxes of canned goods and i don't have to worry about the shelves bending or toppling over. Specifically to this brand; we received beams that were bent. I feel like it's a returned item that someone assembled wrong and that's why they're bent. Thought about returning it but my husband came in clutch and made it work. It's cheap and once it was built, it was solid and you don't notice the bends at all so I didn't want to bother returning and exchanging it. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 star. Otherwise, it's easy to build and such an upgrade for anyone needing more storage.

I bought this Shelf for my bathroom since I needed a shelf that helped me occupied the space that I have and I honestly 100% recommend this product I have had no issues with this shelf at all, and I only have it for one month hopefully nothing happens to it, but there might be water damage due to it being in the restroom but that’s a me problem , but I honestly recommend it. It’s so sturdy and you customize the size of the shelves.

The dimensions for this shelving unit are 48" W x 24" D x 72" H, which are inaccurate. The actual dimensions are 47" W x 23.5" D x 71" H, and while that may not seem like much, it makes a BIG difference when you have items that would normally fit on 48" x 24" shelves. For example, a standard storage box for books is a 12" x 12" x 12" cube, and you can normally fit eight of those on a 48" x 24" shelf. However, with this unit you can only fix six boxes with an 11" gap left over on each shelf. In a like manner, I use Sterlite containers that are 16" W x 24" D, and normally I can fit three of those side by side on a 48" x 24" shelf. However, this shelving unit will only fit two containers side by side with 15" left over. Apart from the incorrect dimensions, another problem is that all the metal rails within this shelving unit seem far too thin. How thin you might ask? Here's an example: several of the long, metal rails were badly bent in transit, even though the box they were shipped in seemed to have no damage; in other words, it didn't take much pressure to damage what was inside the box. Once I opened the shipping box and discovered the bent rails, they were easily pliable into something close to what they should have been, which didn't require any tools since the metal was thin enough to bend by hand, but that did not give me confidence for how well these shelves will support the items that I'm trying to store. In addition to the cheap, thin metal, the wood that is used for each shelf is less than 1/4-inch, which seems like it would break without much effort. I have purchased shelving units from other companies where the wood for each shelf is 1/2-inch or greater. The only positive thing that I can say about these shelves is that they were easy to assemble, though they didn't come with any instructions for those of you who might want to make sure that you're doing things correctly.
