When first opening the package the hair was beautifully curled and very soft. I was planning to straighten the curls out from the beginning but I think it’s worth noting that the curls were not weird or unnatural looking. I straightened the hair on about 350 degrees and it was very easy, there was no burnt smell, and the synthetic hairs didn’t melt or singe. The hair does come with layers that look natural, even when straightened. I do wish I would’ve gotten one without layers just for the look I was going for, but they don’t look bad by any means. The clips and drawstring hold the ponytail in very well. It can be tightened around a small or large bun. I wore the ponytail all day while walking around the city in the rain and then went to a concert with it in. It didn’t get curly or frizzy and didn’t budge the whole time. The hair does get tangled pretty quickly, but that’s expected with synthetic hair. It didn’t get matted or difficult to brush by the end of the day. The one issue I have with the hair is that it sheds quite a bit. I have other synthetic wigs that aren’t as soft but they surely don’t shed as much. This only means the ponytail will get thinner and thinner the more you brush it, and since it gets tangled quickly, you might end up brushing it a lot. After a full weekend of using it I haven’t been able to really see any difference at all, though, even with all the shedding and brushing. I attached a picture of my brush before and after brushing the 1-day worn tangles to provide some reference. Close to the hairnet that goes around the bun are these very short frizzy hairs, maybe added for volume or texture? I’m not sure and you don’t notice them when the piece is actually in, so it wasn’t a big issue to me. I attached a picture of them. Lastly, the color I chose was far too bright for me, but it’s always hard to pick the perfect color. The ponytail still doesn’t look too wildly unnatural considered the huge difference in color, it just looks like I’ve gotten an intense balayage. I wore a big scrunchy in effort to hide the immediate change in color from my head to the ponytail. I think it looked pretty good for $12. Overall the ponytail is perfect for the price. I ordered 1-day shipping on a Thursday and it came that Saturday safely in a hair net and protective bag. It is such an easy way to look put together when you don’t have time or want to do your own hair, just throw it in a tight bun and clip in your beautiful hair! I bought med brown in August or July 2021. It was beautiful, great color and quality. Matched my hair color.. The hair was thicker and fuller than I expected. I wondered if it would look good on me. My own hair is fine, although I use volume building products. But it looked great coupled with back combing the front of my ow hair to create a full look. One reason I love clip on ponytails is I love theme parks. So it's helpful to not only have a quick and easy hairstyle in the morning but to also have hair that is no muss, no fuss all day. This pony held up during rides on fast coasters and I looked pretty all day. I loved the length and got very used to the fullness. At first it seemed to shiny, but that's typical fir synthetic hair. A synthetic clip on pony that is used often begins to look worn out with time and this one was no different. After a year it was fraying at the bottom and a few hairs would come out if I combed it (used a wide tooth comb). It looked natural but unhealthy as if I was in bad need of a conditioning treatment and cut.. I really like it and wanted to replace it with the exact same thing.. Unfortunately, the one I ordered in November 2022 was much thinner. It looked like a different hairpiece because there just wasn't the same amount of hair. I could even see through the bottom layer. I returned it. I have considered reordering, but don't know if I will. If you order and end up with something that looks a bit skimpy, I'd encourage you to return and reorder. I purchased the honey blonde mix and it matches my hair perfectly. I put my hair in a high ponytail and pull it through the tie halfway and then clip this on top. Only downsize is that it's a little heavy but it stays clipped in good

This pony tail clip-on is one of the wisest purchases in hair pieces that I have every made. I love to wear this hair piece when I don't feel like rolling my own hair. Just match it to my clothes with a pretty hair ribbon and I'm all set to go. I love it. It's easy to brush and goes right back to it's previous wavyness. It doesn't come off or slip and slide because the claw clip holds it pretty tight (though not so tight that it gives you a headache).
