I bought med brown in August or July 2021. It was beautiful, great color and quality. Matched my hair color.. The hair was thicker and fuller than I expected. I wondered if it would look good on me. My own hair is fine, although I use volume building products. But it looked great coupled with back combing the front of my ow hair to create a full look. One reason I love clip on ponytails is I love theme parks. So it's helpful to not only have a quick and easy hairstyle in the morning but to also have hair that is no muss, no fuss all day. This pony held up during rides on fast coasters and I looked pretty all day. I loved the length and got very used to the fullness. At first it seemed to shiny, but that's typical fir synthetic hair. A synthetic clip on pony that is used often begins to look worn out with time and this one was no different. After a year it was fraying at the bottom and a few hairs would come out if I combed it (used a wide tooth comb). It looked natural but unhealthy as if I was in bad need of a conditioning treatment and cut.. I really like it and wanted to replace it with the exact same thing.. Unfortunately, the one I ordered in November 2022 was much thinner. It looked like a different hairpiece because there just wasn't the same amount of hair. I could even see through the bottom layer. I returned it. I have considered reordering, but don't know if I will. If you order and end up with something that looks a bit skimpy, I'd encourage you to return and reorder. I am extremely happy with this ponytail hair piece. In fact, I’ve bought 2 more! I’ve tried other brands and they have all been too heavy. This one is just right. It’s thick enough to feel as though I have long luxurious hair, but it doesn’t weigh so much that it feels like its pulling my head back, which the others do. The one I’m wearing in the photo is the claw clip. I do find it takes time getting use to where to position it on my head. If it’s placed to high on the head it creates a hollow tunnel look. If placed too low it looks unnatural and obvious I’m wearing a hairpiece. So, it’s taken a lot of messing with positioning to get it right. Three years ago all my hair fell out, due to an extremely stressful event in my life. I really learned just how important your hair is to your overall self confidence. I had to wear full head wigs, which were uncomfortable and hot, not to mention a big pain in the butt. My hair has finally grown to where I can pull it into a small bun. I slick it back with gel then clip this ponytail onto that and like magic, I have hair again! (And btw.....I’m 63 yo. Long hair makes women look younger). I recommend this product. Out of all the ones I’ve tried this is the best Give it time and play around with it until you get it right and you will love it. This claw clip on ponytail is THE BEST. I don't use it currently because I have long tape in extensions but back when I bought this my hair was growing back out (I lost it when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to go through chemotherapy) and it was finally long enough to put in a teeny tiny ponytail in the middle of the back of my head. I have really thin hair so I would just put the claw clip right over my tiny pony and in seconds I was transformed into a girl that has amazing hair and spent an hour with a blow-drier, hair products, hot tools etc. In reality it takes just seconds to clip in and the best thing? It looks real!! When I started wearing it to work I'd get compliments all day. It really boosted my self esteem after cancer and chemo stole so much from me.
