The holes aren’t huge, but enough to see underneath. You can wear it out or tucked - I like it both ways. The quality is really nice and seems higher end than what I was expecting. I love this sweater. It’s one of those items that can be warm when it’s a little cooler, or warmer. It is a good quality. I usually hang dry most of my sweaters, but decided to throw this in the dryer on low and it came out great. No shrinking. I do wear a layering shirt under it, but you could totally get away without one. I don’t like to wear sleeveless shirts because of my bat wings.
