This is a very nice sweater and a small fit me perfectly (weight: 120 - height 5'5"). It feels soft, cozy, and warm, not to mention very comfortable and looks high quality. It can be worn over a blouse or by itself and either way it looks great. The only downside is the buttons are cheap plastic bit at least they can be easily replaced. I am so glad I ordered this sweater! It was on sale and I was a bit concerned with quality given the price, but it was SO worth it! The fit is very flattering, and the gold buttons give it style and some color contrast. The photo is accurate as far as the length of the sweater. I am very pleased with the quality, style, and price of this sweater. I washed it on a gentle cold water cycle and dried it on a low setting for a few minutes, and then allowed it to air dry the rest of the way. It came out perfect. I loved the weight and warmth. Has high quality buttons and has kind of channel jacket vibe but with a relaxed garment. It is a beautiful, rich red appropriate for Christmas/Valentines. The gold buttons add to the classiness of this sweater. I'm a seamstress with a bachelors in clothing and testiles with an emphasis on clothing construction (and a bit of a "button snob.") I don't feel a need to upgrade these buttons. This sweater can be worn with a skirt/dress to work/church or with jeans. I consider this a basic wardrobe piece. I am 71 years of age, 5'4" and weight 170. I purchased a size L using the size guide to make my selection. I returned this sweater and sized up because I like a relaxed fit.
