The fit is very flattering, and the gold buttons give it style and some color contrast. The photo is accurate as far as the length of the sweater. I washed it on a gentle cold water cycle and dried it on a low setting for a few minutes, and then allowed it to air dry the rest of the way. It came out perfect. Beautiful sweater! I have a longer torso, so sweater fits shorter for me. The neck line is also more wide rather than fitting like a crew neck. Regardless, I would buy again! Can wear in summer and winter.

I loved the weight and warmth. Has high quality buttons and has kind of channel jacket vibe but with a relaxed garment. It is a beautiful, rich red appropriate for Christmas/Valentines. The gold buttons add to the classiness of this sweater. I'm a seamstress with a bachelors in clothing and testiles with an emphasis on clothing construction (and a bit of a "button snob.") I don't feel a need to upgrade these buttons. This sweater can be worn with a skirt/dress to work/church or with jeans. I consider this a basic wardrobe piece. I am 71 years of age, 5'4" and weight 170. I purchased a size L using the size guide to make my selection. I returned this sweater and sized up because I like a relaxed fit. I would purchase this in another color and recommend this item.

I wish I could give this sweater more than 4 stars! I was so pleased with the quality, the softness, but the heft and the fit. It even comes with an additional button in case you lose one. The buttons have a black border and gold scrolling inside the button. It looks much more expensive than it is! I wish they were all on sale, because I will buy every one of them! I can't say enough good things about this jacket/sweater!
