I was really excited about this short sleeved cardigan from PRETTYGARDEN. It's exactly the type of shirt I wear all the time and I ordered my favorite color, pink, so I was sure this would go into heavy rotation in my wardrobe. Unfortunately, the fit is a little strange. It's simultaneously too big and too small. If you look at my pictures, you can see it is obviously straining at every button, but it's loose everywhere except the breasts. Usually I would chalk that up to a styling choice and resolve to wear it unbuttoned from then on, but all of the styling pictures provided show it closed, so I don't think it's too big an ask that customers be able to wear it buttoned, too. Some of the fit problems may be down to my body type -- large breasts and an apple shape -- so ymmv. The knit material is soft and thick enough not to be see-through, but thin enough to be versatile. Other than the discomfort of trying to fix the buttons all day, I was able to comfortably wear it during my work day. It did obviously wrinkle and there were two places where the knit had pulled right out of the package, but those weren't too visible. I was able to push them back through with a tiny crochet hook. I probably wouldn't buy this again, although I probably will continue to wear it -- unbuttoned!

I chose the PRETTYGARDEN Puff Short Sleeve Cardigans because I like to wear sundresses and was looking for a way to make them work appropriate. When I saw this short sleeve cardigan I knew this was exactly what I needed. I'm 5'11", 180lbs, 38G and the 2x is true to size. I can button this closed with no gaping at the buttons. I like that the sleeves go right to my elbow and the scalloped trim combined with the puff shoulder is a sweet detail that adds to the quality look I want my clothing to have. The scoop neck is low enough to be modest while not riding up my neck and the scalloped edging is another nice touch that lays smooth. The synthetic/wool blend is soft and breathable with a smooth, tight knit that is thick and opaque without feeling heavy. I did pick black and it is a true,deep, carbon black that doesn't lean blue or green like some can. I can button this up over a spaghetti strap dress and have the modest skirt and sweater look or wear it open like a traditional cardigan. I love this cardigan and feel like it is going to be a super versatile piece added to my existing wardrobe and a great spring-summer-fall transitional clothing item.

Pretty Garden puff short sleeve cardigan I really like this cardigan. The sleeves are a little shorter than the appear in the image. The are actually like short sleeve and dont come to your elbows like the product description picture looks. The shoulder do have a little puff feature designed into them. But the cardigan itself is really nice. The collar and sleeves amd around the buttons have a really pretty and delicate scallop design on the edge, the bottom is a tighter woven weave to help keep the cardigan in place. The buttons are are nice and sturdy and you get an extra one in case you need it. The stitching on the cardigan is well done and I havent noticed and loose strings or undone seems. I got a size XL as suggested by the size chart and it fits pretty snug. I think and XXL would have been oversized. I do like how the XL fits and its not uncomfortable. I got to to wear at my home office and thought this would provide a professional look while still being cool and comfortable since its short sleeve. I will be getting some additional colors because I like it so much. Overall, really well made, work look good as a casual outfit or dressed up for a more professional setting. The material is nice and the stitching is well done. The fit is a little snug but not uncomfortable. I think this is a great value for this cardigan.

Fit (5'2", 118 lbs, 32B, ordered Small): Runs large. Even though I typically prefer a looser fit, this was bigger than I'd like. Wish an XS were available — if you're petite, keep that in mind. Fabric & Construction: This is where it exceeds expectations. The knit feels high quality — soft but substantial, nicer than what you'd find at Forever21 or similar fast fashion. Stitching and construction are solid throughout. The weave is slightly denser than a typical summer knit, making it better suited for early spring or fall rather than hot weather. Style: The puff sleeves and overall design lean a bit prim — would look polished paired with slacks and heels for a put-together office or brunch look. Depending on how you style it, it could also veer slightly frumpy, so I'd avoid pairing with anything too loose or shapeless on the bottom. Buttons & Color: Buttons are fine — not high-end but not noticeably cheap either. I ordered khaki and really like it. Neutral enough to pair with most things. Care: Hand wash cold or dry clean. Not a toss-in-the-washer piece. Bottom line: Well priced for the quality. Size down if you're between sizes or prefer a more fitted look.
