Soft, cushy knit. It's a nice midweight sweater, not too bulky, so you don't feel chunky in it. I love the brown color; it's a deep, dark chocolate that looks so rich. Button placement is SO well done; they didn't try to chintz out with less buttons, so no gapping when you put your shoulders back. Pretty Garden generally runs a little big, and I know that, so I ordered the XS, and it fits beautifully. I haven't laundered it yet, but I see they say hand wash. I don't hand wash anything, so it will be put in a mesh bag, and machine washed on gentle cycle, cool water, in my agitator-less washing machine. Love this sweater. It's very warm & pretty, soft & appears to be well made. Love the buttons. Have purchased three colors. This is a keeper. Suggested size is correct for me.

This sweater is clearly well made. It feels soft and thick. It a has longer sleeve and torso which is a sin for me. It is more of a fitted sweater than the photo portrays.

I have been satisfied with Amazon for years. If an item I purchase doesn't meet my expectation I have had no problems with returns/exchanges. However, I was unhappy to only receive a $5 refund for a $30 sweater if I kept it. It is unwearable in public. It’s poor quality makes it look bad. If I return it, for an exchange, the replacement would most likely have the same problem as before. I would think the sweater is actually worth $15 based on the quality. To actually wear it in the garden as a work shirt is more like what I ended up with. It’s not a nice sweater to accent an outfit. My 2 cents! ... show more

    • Relaxed fit, but keeps its shape
Color: Black Size: Medium
This sweater is roomy enough to layer over a pullover sweater , but sproingy enough that it keeps its shape. The fit is relaxed, but it doesn't look like it's hanging on me. Warm, too. I work in a cold room but go back and forth to warmer areas often, so easy layering is important to me.
