Let's just say that I'll get a large next time, because the XL was definitely an XL. I mean I still wear it, but I never button it up because then it just, hangs off of me makes me look wide. I guess the oversized fit reviews are true, so next time I'll definitely get an L, that's my bad. Also the color matched the selection, and it's definitely something that keeps you warm, and you can wear it when it's breezy or cold no problem, though I wouldn't reccomend warm, humid, or slightly warm environments. It's quite comfortable, very cozy, and while I expected the texture to be a bit more rough like most knitted clothes are, it's soft in a way is more similar to a soft corded type of yarn that's flexible.

An oversized cardigan with pockets is such a wonderful addition to your closet. The sleeves are oversized and the material is super soft. After washing I did notice that it is beginning to pill a little, but this would be expected with the soft material used. The instructions do say to handwash only, I used the washing machine and hung to dry. It did not shrink and still maintained the soft texture. Pilling may be due to using the washing machine instead. The cardigan is very well constructed, buttons are usually the first thing to go and these are held on very well. I like the pattern on the button, looks like a regal shield. The buttons look to be cheap and may not hold up over time. Because this is a chunky cardigan, I ordered my size and really could have sized down, but I really like the oversized look. Great value for the price and very happy with the cardigan.
