Very light weight fabric, perfect for a hot summer day...it is not lined but that's okay because it is not see-through (I bought the green) and the fit is not clingy. The dress is well proportioned (meaning that it even fits us taller ladies!). This is a great casual dress for a picnic, day-trip, outdoor concert etc. Dress it up with sandals and a light sweater, or dress it down with white sneaks and a denim jacket. I absolutely love this dress. The picture is of me just throwing it on really quick out of the package, it hasn’t even been ironed, yet. With proper undergarments it will be amazing. The quality of this dress is so good for the price. The fit I couldn’t ask for better. I went with a small, but my measurements would have required me to buy a medium. I am 5’4 and I weigh 148 lbs. I am small breasted so that’s why it went with a small as you can tell there’s probably still room if you are bigger breasted. I have a smaller top and a bigger bottom. I will probably order another one in a different color, but very happy with this one. I’m going to wear it to a night wedding. I saw someone had purchased this dress, and it was too big for her. I purchased a version of this dress last year for an anniversary dinner and I went with the Amazon suggestion of Large even though I'm slightly more full figured. That dress fit great except for the bust area. That little bitty snap trying to hold the top closed? Yeah, no. Nothing that a safety pin couldn't fix, but still... So I bought this dress and, once again, bought the suggested size and have run into the same problem. My bustline isn't even generous but I'm having the same problem with gaping. I decided to keep the dress however, I will purchase another one at the size I SHOULD have bought initially. It's just hard to find a pretty dress that fits a 5'3, 200+lb lady, that isn't going to drag on the ground or have me spilling out of the top. It would be nice to have a bit more full figured gals to model these dresses to get a better idea of how they might fit. Choosing the model option is fine but not when they just stand there without giving an idea of what the dress looks like from all angles. Just a thought. ... show more

I absolutely love this dress, true to size (I bought an XL), it’s super flattering and I feel wonderful each time I wear it. The only two things I don’t like is the clasp at the neckline. Mine easily broke off and you can definitely see my chest. The other thing is if there is any wind, the dress slit opens the dress and you can see your entire leg and thigh, and if the wind is strong enough it’ll lift it up and show your underwear too. I bought this along with a few other dresses thinking I would return some. I love this dress. It’s perfect for a vacation resort wear or to wear with cowboy boots for a date night. The colors are bright and beautiful. The cut of the dress is flattering. The fabric is thin but not see-through at all. I can’t wait to wear this. I debated long and hard about ordering this dress. There were some truly horrendous reviews. From it smelled, it’s cheap, it’s shear, and on and on. I wore this to a derby party & it was nice & comfortable. Lightweight but not see through. I did wear a slip only to add an extra layer for the cold/rainy Oregon day. Length worked well- I’m 5’2” so it was long but didn’t touch the ground. I sized up based on reviews & was glad I did.
