Yes it's a bunch of plastic but who cares, this little playset is impossibly cute! Advertised as a pretend dog grooming set, there are some kitties in there as well so if you have a child who is a cat lover they will love this too. So many fun things to do with the pets. It's a cute set, it's just not good quality very cheap plastic. You do have assembly a few pieces and it does work in a doll house like I show in my pictures. My 2.5 year old loves all the animals so it was worth it for the animals depending on the price.
