Out of the box these were perfect for what I needed - a ball I can hit in the pasture in the dark (when I have the most free time). They worked perfectly fine out of the box. They lit up when stuck and stay lit for probably close to the 10 minute mark. And though they don’t have the best feel off the face, they do fly pretty well. The issue is that they don’t work right too long… After probably 70-80ish strikes some of them started going out after only being lit for 1-3 minutes… Needless to say, that has been a pain as I have to hurry up and fetch those balls or else I’m out there with a flashlight. I think these are an okay buy for a one-off event or if you’re just chipping around in tight grass where it’d be easy to find them. However, I won’t buy them again because based on the performance, I think I’d be better of buying some cheaper ones..

My son usually uses one type of golf ball because he knows how they react to his swing, but I got him these for when it begins to get dusky and it's harder to see where the ball went. He said they light up pretty well and they're good for those situations, but he wouldn't use them for regular game balls.

These Center Coast Collections light up LED golf balls are pretty awesome. These LED golf balls are very bright and the colors are extremely vivid. The balls are mostly fully illuminated, but it is obvious there are two LEDs in each ball as you can see two bright points and shading in between. The golf balls are still very bright and you should have no issues following your ball path and finding your ball. The listing states that these LED golf balls have a battery that lasts a total of 40-50 hours of illumination time. When the ball is struck with a golf club they light up instantly and I can confirm they stay lit for 8 minutes. Eight minutes should be enough time for you to find your golf ball at night, depending on how good/quick the rest of the golfers in your group are. The batteries cannot be replaced or recharged. These balls are for fun occasional rounds of golf playing at night, so do not expect to get the same distance or feel as you would from a high performance golf ball. These LED golf balls have a slight variation in weight, they weighed between 44.9 grams and 45.4 grams. For comparison I also weighed multiple Callaway and Titleist golf balls and they all weighed 45.8 grams. These light up LED golf balls from Center Coast Collections are currently priced at $3.33 per ball ($20 for a 6pk) which is very affordable, especially when you compare them to Pro V1's which are $1.25 more expensive per ball!!!
