I take a lot of meals to other families through our church's hospitality ministry, and I have been needing something that would carry those hot dishes without burning me... and keep them hot. This seems to fit the bill with only one small issue. The carrier is a nice generous size that just fits the height of the disposable pans that I like to use (with plenty of room around the edges.) It is firm and holds its shape while being carried. The handle works great. My one issue is that the top is quite challenging to zip up. I believe that it is just a few centimeters too wide for the bottom. This means that every time I need to zip it up, I have to aggressively force the top into the bottom so I can get the zippers aligned. It also leaves a very small gap in between the two zippers. This carrier is SO WELL MADE. Easily holds a large casserole dish for transporting. Love the way you unzip the lower zipper, place your casserole on the platform and then bring the top down over the sides of the dish. Keeps the foil covering in place. NOTE: this is not light weight.
