I have ordered this product multiple times because my dog loves them and they last so long but this shipment was all broken up, every one was broke in half and now too small for my dog to chew on without posing a choke risk, very disappointed as these are not cheap but usually worth the money

My puppy has chewed through every type of bone I have given her. She would take an hour or two with others bones. This is her 2 day of chewing on this bone and she has barely made a dent in it. She keeps going back to it so I’m assuming she likes it. I’m really excited to make it into a puff when she gets it to a small piece.

I was very excited about this purchase based off of the reviews. My two dogs, a lab puppy and a two year old Aussie mix, are in need of a chewing distraction. My first disappointment was that one of the chews came broken. I have heard you can soak them and microwave them, but this isn’t what I had intended them for, so the price just went up exponentially given that I can’t use it. My second disappointment came when I realized there were only 3 in the package and not 4. I’m not quite sure how Amazon managed that bait and switch, but the original link I clicked was for 4 chews. My third disappointment was when I realized my older dog finished his whole chew in 45 minutes. I thought I’d get a bit more from it than that. It was not a stress free 45 minutes either, as both dogs guarded their chew and growled at every speck of dust that happened to get too close. And of course I had to take hers away when his was finished to avoid a fight to the death. Now for the positives. It’s very clear both dogs were absolutely nuts about this chew. First off, my Aussie “buried” it first under the pillows on the sofa. That is considered the highest honor in his world. He then proceeded to steal the puppy’s chew, which then took me 15 minutes to pry from his jaws while she howled her agony. While he gnawed his down in less than an hour, I’m sure without his unwelcome assistance she would have a few days at least. Another positive was I could detect zero smell coming from these chews. There was no real mess to speak of, and no greasy marks like with other chews. I checked the furniture carefully, and there was no sign a chew had been devoured in that spot. I will probably try again with the bigger size for my Aussie mix. To be transparent, there have been exactly 0 chews he has not completely annihilated within a few hours since he was two months old. The big test will be in a few days when we find out just how “highly digestible” they really are. ETA: The biggest disappointment was finding out the smell is the most atrocious thing on the planet when my dog vomited the pieces up the next day. So, not so digestible when your dog swallows chunks of it whole.

I have a 4.6lbs Parti Yorkie who is trying this for the first time. He loves it! I got the package July 29th. I gave him one that day. Today is August 1st and he still has a way to go. I haven’t seen any splinters or anything. He’s just shaving off what he can with his teeth. They’re hard enough that he hasn’t bitten through it. I bought the small dog size. It’s perfect for him. It fits in his little mouth just fine. Keeps him from chewing our shoes, carpet and etc ... I highly recommend them for aggressive chewers his size. I love the nice sack I get to keep them in too. I’ll reuse it for other things when we run out. I don’t see that happening quickly. I feel like there are plenty in there. I’ll try to update my review once he’s done with this one to give an idea of how long it lasted. Thanks for reading. I hope this helps someone. Update: 1/16/2020 My pup absolutely loved these! He is now 5.13 pounds. I gave him his first one August 1st 2019. He’s now on his last one. 5 months later! He’s still a power chewer. I feel like I got my money’s worth. Still no splinters or anything. He just shaves it off with his teeth. I highly recommend.
