I had the actual Pit Boss brand cover and was disappointed that it was falling apart within 1 yr. I had to repaint the grill due to rust damage. I got this replacement hoping it will last longer. It feels like good, heavy, water-resistant material. I have expectations that it will last longer. It also fits more loosely than the “official” cover, which I like better because the other one was difficult to get on and off. ... show more

The listing states water proof. As the material is water proof, the construction ( seams /sewing) is definitely not. This pellet grill has electrical and electronics which are susceptible to moister / water damage. It may need to be returned!!!!!!!!!
