We have them laid out like a back door mat. This is great as all the dirt falls below it. The wood has a high plastic backing so its not really sitting on the dirt at all and its easy to move and clean. They have been sitting out in our crazy weather for some time and have not faded or changed much at all. They have held up to people and dogs walking all over them. They had no issues with being in direct mid day sun until sun set, and they got rained on all the time as we live in WA. Saddle because they do lock together and we could add to it we do have the one edge that has the interlocking hoops, but that's not a big deal to use as we might do the full back patio in them later on.

The tiles came in quickly and with no issues. The 12"x12" interlocking natural solid acacia wood tiles are beautiful and easy to install. The tiles connect together easily with a peg and eyelet system that is great and holds firm. The pack comes with 10 deck tiles that that is great for being used for outdoor patio or garden area, but can also be used on a balcony, poolside or just about anywhere you would want them. The dark brown color of the wood makes a great look for any area and there is separate but totally worth end pieces and corners that you can purchase apart from these that really finish the look. With the wood there will eventually be upkeep like all wood has, but worth it if you keep up on it.

I was a bit uncertain about these wood decking tiles at first, worried they might not hold up well. However, I was pleasantly surprised! They are incredibly sturdy and securely attached to the base. The texture feels great underfoot, and they add a beautiful, natural look to my patio. My outdoor space now feels warm and inviting, and I couldn't be happier with the transformation.
