This product is totally worthless. Bits get stuck very easily and you can’t reverse them out as the attachment unscrews from the but attaching the bit to the drill. I’ve tried numerous times on different size logs with the same result. It wouldn’t even split a 3” dried limb.

I could not get through time piece of wood before it got stuck. Definitely not as advertised. In addition, you can't reverse the drill to dislodge it because it unscrews from the base. It required a vise grip pliers to get it unstuck. Not as advertised.

This firewood log splitter drill bit set is a sturdy and effective tool for anyone with a good power drill. Made from heavy duty high carbon steel, the bits have deep threads that grip the wood and pull through quickly. The interchangeable design with both SDS and round handles makes it easy to fit most drills. The set arrived safely with each tip packed in a plastic tube and two gloves included. The gloves are a nice bonus, but they are small and not ideal for larger hands. Setup was simple. Attach the right adapter for your drill type and it is ready to use. The bits are sharp and solid, so wear gloves when handling them. In use, it performs better than expected. With enough torque and steady pressure, it can split even relatively fresh logs, not just dry wood. It works fast and feels much safer than using an axe for small logs or kindling. Durability seems good so far. The bits are solid metal and should last well as long as they stay sharp. Pros: • Strong and well made steel bits • Splits dry and fresh logs quickly • Works with several drill types • Comes with gloves and storage tubes Cons: • Needs a powerful drill to perform well • Gloves are too small for larger hands Buyer Tip: Use a drill with plenty of power and hold the bit firmly before starting. Begin at the edge of the log and drill straight down for a clean split. Bottom Line: A tough and efficient log splitter bit set that makes kindling and small log splitting quick and easy without the need for an axe.
