  • Great product & seemless set up
Model: 12GB
We are buying & using the Preloaded Orange Travel Sim Card in Europe for few years now. This time we used in Germany, Italy, Sweden & Norway and worked without any issues. I inserted the sim card when we landed in FRA and turned on the phone and worked perfectly. We went from Germany to Italy and then to Scandinavian countries and again, it worked all the time. We used it for 22 days for voice, text & data. I also used it as hot spot for my other phone to connect to Internet. Overall, I buy it again and I hope that they keep the product this way. ... show more

  • Didn't work for me. Buy them over here instead.
Model: 12GB
Did not work for me. My phone had great signal, but said "network locked" and no data was moving. I emailed orange and they did reply within 24 hours but asked for my orange order number. As soon as I said I bought it here I never heard from them again. Look, if you're reading this, I get it. You'd like to have this Sim thing settled before your trip. Me too. I spent like thirty bucks for some peace of mind. Instead I got a bunch of complication and limbo. I am writing this from France in April of 2025 and can say Sim cards are easy to find here. You literally have to walk past four places selling them to exit cdg. If your phone won't do an esim just buy one over here. Safe travels. ... show more

  • Reliable and Easy-to-Use SIM for European Travel
Model: 12GB
Inserting the SIM into my unlocked phone was quick and effortless—worked right away without any setup hassles. I used it while traveling across four countries and multiple stops, including Amsterdam, Brussels, Stuttgart, Triberg, Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, and Brienz. Throughout the trip, I had consistent 4G coverage and no issues with data signal. It made me staying connected while traveling in Europe (WhatsApp chat and calling, Google map). ... show more

  • Worked great
Model: 100GB
Took a 6 week trip to Spain and Portugal - did not turn on the phone until I reach Europe - worked great! No set up needed... did have to do a top up during my trip, but no issues.

  • It worked great and easy to start up and register
Model: 12GB
We bought this in Jan. & used it in Feb. for 2 weeks in Europe (Sicily, Malta & Germany) and it worked great. It connected within seconds of the phone being turned on. While I took instructions to handle potential issues based on online reviews (called the phone provider before leaving to ensure my device is not locked; remember to turn on Roaming; & how to check APN settings). I registered the account after my return to North America & it said I'd get a text within 5 days, but I wasn't in Europe so the sim wouldn't be working for me to get the text. I sent a message via support.travel.orange.com/hc (I think I got there from the faq page) and got an email reply in English within the hour. I was even able to reply to the email to ask a follow-up question. In hindsight it would have been easier to register the account while in Europe but it got done. I've now opened an online account (after the registration) to be able to process top-ups to keep the account active. That process went smoothly but I did have to wait until the account was registered to do this step and I did have to confirm my email with a code sent to it. I checked on the online account and it looks like I have the option to purchase the same 12 GB of data & 200 SMS for $21 at this time (will probably fluctuate with exchange rates I assume). Overall I was very happy with both the purchase with Amazon and with the Orange Sim and even their customer service. ... show more

  • There Are Pros and Cons
Model: 100GB
Purchased this sim card for a recent three-week trip to Europe because I did not want to pay the high fee for AT&T phone service in Europe. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G phone and I had obtained the unlock code from AT&T. You will need the code if you did not purchase an unlocked phone or got your phone from AT&T as part of your subscription. When I landed in Paris, I switched out the sim cards. The Orange package comes with an Eiffel Tower shaped pin to release the sim tray. The S21 uses the smallest sim card and the sim card was easy to remove from Orange's plastic holder. (I brought along a ziplock bag to put my AT&T sim card in so I wouldn't lose it.) Turn off the phone before removing the sim tray. Once the Orange sim card was placed in the tray, I slid the tray back in, and powered up the phone. I then had to enter the AT&T unlock code. After that, the phone connected to the Orange network. So, the pros are that the card is easy to use and install and is much cheaper than paying for international service from AT&T which, at the time, would have been $18/day for our two phones. I also liked the fact that I had the French phone number in advance so that I could give it to our family in the event we needed to be called in Europe. One of the cons is that while I was able to make phone calls, I was never able to send a text message. I stopped in at an Orange store in Brussels to ask for help, but was quite curtly refused because, "We only help with Belgium Orange issues, not France." The other con is that you cannot use two-step verification to your US phone number because that number is no longer in service while using the French Orange number. So, if you do have to do a two-step verification to access a website, you will need to have the verification code sent to an email address. On my wife's Apple phone, we did the Orange E-sim card. That too had some issues, but I think I would do the E-sim next time with my S21 so that I would not have to fool around with handling the super small sim cards and worrying about losing my AT&T card. ... show more
