I teach a class of 25 students who have wooden chairs that once used to have rubber chair leg protectors that were horrible. The chair legs are not round nor even a rectangular prism - the legs are shaped like thin planks of wood, so I had some concerns these footies wouldn’t fit. But I had ordered just a sample to be sure and with a little bit of elbow grease, they popped onto the legs and fit perfectly! So I ordered enough for the whole class and this has changed the atmosphere in the room drastically. We no longer hear the scraping of chairs whose rubber protectors had fallen off, nor do students struggle to stand up because their chair’s rubber protectors grip the floor so their chairs can’t move. With the new footsies, chairs can slide on the flooor quietly and super easily, the small size of the footsies ensure that the chairs can still fit under the desks easily, and the inner material of the footsies grip the chair legs securely so that when students put their chairs up at the end of the day the footsies don’t fall off. All in all a great product! I have been recommending them to every teacher and colleague I talk to. I plan to buy a few more for the extra chairs we have in our room and perhaps to give some away as a sample to my colleagues to convince them this is so worth it to try out.
