The hair wasn’t too heavy and didn’t knot while doing the braids. I genuinely i joyed working with this product and would recommend others buying it. You must soak the hair in Apple cider vinegar and water for an hour. Shampoo and condition, rinse well. Pat dry with microfiber drying towel. Hang up to air dry, overnight, before using. I used the hair without knowing this and it caused my scalp to itch very badly. I removed the braids and did the above treatment to the braids. No more itching.
