I got this to compliment my Vaha pants, which are my favorite lounge pants. I was a bit on the fence about size though because I run around a 34" waist usually and the pants I have are a medium and are very comfortable and fit great. I took a long shot because of the price and got the shorts in a large and those also are very comfortable and fit very well too, just slightly looser elastic. As long as they're consistent I think the 34" waist is kind of right in the middle, it just depends on if you want slightly more snug or slightly more loose. I think they are overall great, but if you are like me, you might want a little bit more length in the leg. In photo its great, but when you're doing yoga ( I teach so its more on my mind) the pants come up exposing more leg than you might want. I just use a pair of longer under armour shorts underneath and problem solved! Considering they are a little short, they were also slightly bigger at the waist than I expected. These were not a good fit and had zero stretch to them. The waistband fit lower that expected and the fabric was actually a bit itchy with zero stretch. More like a heavy linen fabric. Love Prana brand but these were a big no from my husband. 6’ 4” 200 pounds

I get what the other reviewers are describing as not being waterproof or that tough woven fabric prAna is known for, but these breath and are soft instead. Think of them as yogo shorts but nice enough to wear out doing errands. Very glad I purchased.

I have two pair. They dry fast and are soft and natural feeling. They’d fit great if they had a little more butt room. My bit is a reasonable size, so it’s not me. Good thing - the drawstring stays put when you wash them.

These are comfortable and attractive shorts. You could work out in them or dress them up. I do notice some extremely small pilling happening but its probably unavoidable with the soft brushed feeling fabric.
