We were tired of staring at our outdated wood paneling but also not in a spot to completely redo our basement, so we had a crazy idea… wallpaper. It worked like a charm and after a few days of looking at it we’re happy we went with it. It took me 3 days to complete my basement but I was working alone for most of it. I started the project with a helper (my 14 year old son) but doing it on my own wasn’t difficult. I read some reviews that said it came squished or squared, but mine had a foam tube in the center of every roll, keeping them round. I also found it to be extremely sticky. I had no issues getting it to stick or even re stick if I had to adjust it, to the paneling. I will note I did wipe down my walls as recommended before applying. I used a plastic putty knife to smooth out the paper as I applied it. I recommend going slow and pulling down the backing as you go to keep unnecessary paper from sticking to your wall before you’re ready. It is easy to tear if you’re not careful but working slowly and being patient can prevent most issues. So take your time. I purchased the gray and it is darker than I expected, not a big deal for us but could be for someone else. I also measured like crazy and only made a few small errors that resulted in waisted paper and still had to order an extra roll because I was short, so I’d recommend ordering one more roll than you think you’ll need just in case. ... show more

I used this to cover a table top to match a desk...it was fairly easy to handle and only ran into minimal problems with a few air bubbles. Seems to be sticking well, too. The only drawback was that it was extremely slow going to get it bubble-free but it was still easier to work with than Contact paper. I'd buy it again! ... show more

I used this to make a chalkboard surface in the lid of the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. I would suggest that you don't assemble the box until you have the paper surface in place. I tried cutting it with an Exacto knife but the blade was not sharp enough to make a clean cut. A scissors did a better job. ... show more

I used this on my drawers because I wanted some white to tie everything together. It has a nice texture to it, it's soft. It was a bit difficult to peel and apply it and especially to squeeze out the air bubbles. But I was doing it by myself so if you get a second person to help you, it would be a lot easier.
