VERY poor quality. There was a mystery yellow/brown stain down one side, the doors wouldn't align when pushed all the way closed, the magnets wouldnt catch the doors, and the drawers were installed unevenly so they were hard to pull out and back in. Granted the quality of the wood is lacking, especially for the price (feels like cheap balsa wood), however the design meets its overall purpose. My jewelry was getting out of hand. I had two small jewelry boxes for my collection but wanted something that would not only better organize my jewelry but also give me easy and quick accessibility. I looked at quite a number of Jewelry Boxes before I settled on this one despite some negative reviews. Excited to receive it yesterday, 01-02-25. Nothing to assemble, thank goodness. It is a nice box, but this is not your top end jewelry box. It's functional and I had a ball organizing my collection. But there are a few things to note: One of the slots is very difficult to remove and I had to use oil to try to make it easier. The draws are kind of flimsy and may stick a little so be sure they are lined up perfectly in the grooves. It does have a lot of holes for earrings and the size is more than adequate. Overall, it's a nice jewelry box and the plain design may stir your creativity to paint a design on it or embellish it with a monogram letter or stickers. I am trying to find nice monogram letters for my name but have not as yet. I would recommend purchasing the item but don't expect it be perfect. The construction seems sound except for the hard to remove slot and the moody drawers. I'll keep oiling it to make it smoother to remove and insert. Is it worth the price? Not really. I think a fairer price would be $35.00. That being said, I would purchase another one for the size and numerous slots for earrings. ... show more

I love the idea of this jewelry box. I mostly own earrings and was excited that this had far more storage for larger dangling/hoop earrings. I have to say I was very disappointed when I opened the box. I don't believe it's worth the $70 I spent so I am returning. Here's why: - It seems to be made out of balsa wood which doesn't usually stand up to use. - The doors were misaligned and the magnet to keep one side of the door closed just didn't do the trick. - The hinges were so loose they didn't hold the door in place well. Even when I tried tightening the screws on the hinges, it didn't do much. - The drawers do not slide well. Once I took out a drawer, it took far longer than expected to put it back. This might be useful for a little girl that won't use it frequently, but it was not up to the quality I'd expect for the price. ... show more

I purchased this jewelry box because it was made of wood and had 80 slots for ear rings. My wife loves ear rings and just about filled all slots. The box looks ok and will suit it's intended purpose but it is not a very well made box. The door hinges were loose due to the size of screws used that I had to replace. The main doors have no stops so one side was stopped by the drawer pulls and the other door went past the pulls and stopped when it hit the drawers so they don't line up evenly. The drawers themselves do not go in and out smoothly, often jamming unless you carefully and slowly guide them in so they don't get off-center. I have a feeling that the life span of this box will not be a long one. ... show more
