I honestly have no issues with this shelf, I think it’s fine! For the price point, though, I would expect the materials to be a little sturdier. At the time of ordering, it’s listed for $70 USD. The shelves are okay, but the side pieces are a little thinner and if I gave it decent effort, I think I could probably snap them? BUT, all put together, it IS decently sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all. It even comes with little sticky pads to put on the bottom so it saves your floors and doesn’t scoot easily. Instructions were fairly clear, though I wish measurements were listed for the screws. It’s hard to tell from the photos on the instructions that there are two different sizes. You can eventually deduce that for yourself if you just look at your materials but it’d be nice to have that more clearly specified. Took me maybe 15 minutes to set up. Packaged well so none of the pieces were damaged or scuffed. I’d say l “decent” is the overall word I’d use for this product. ... show more

the bookshelf requires moderate assembly, takes about 20 mins to complete. the wood seems light weighted, but does hold well together. It is light overall. It is a good piece for rental houses or not long term use furniture

This unit was packaged well to prevent pieces from rubbing and scarring each piece. This seems to be a soft lightweight material, and I suspect could be easily damaged. The box included a standard small Allen wrench, screws (with some extras), white gloves (I am assuming used to dust/clean the shelf), and instructions. Each item was labeled. From other reviews it sounds like this may vary slightly. The instructions were basic (but I didn't feel there needed to be super specific instructions). However, there is a correct and a wrong way to put the shelves on. If they are not labeled with facing arrows, I suggest ensuring the shelves are flush, otherwise the "arms" won't match up properly. The shelf is taller than I expected and is a great height. There were some, what appeared to be, natural scruff marks in the wood (but does not impact the look of the product). We tried this in a variety of areas in the apartment and the bedroom corners seemed to fit the best. It looked out of place in the livingroom (I suspect the molding/baseboards was part of the problem and prevented it from fitting in the corner). This is a good shelf for smaller plants, display, books, etc. I likely wouldn't put anything too heavy on it, it's sturdy but the material is softer. ... show more
