As a reviewer, I chose two different sizes and colors of these suitcases to get a wider variety by the same manufacturer. I will be reviewing the 28" black suitcase and the 24" blue suitcase. This set of suitcases is a nice, basic set that can be used for medium to long trips. Both the black 28" and the blue 24" hard sided suitcases have lots of room. They have everything a basic suitcase should these days - 8 sturdy rollers (4 axles X 2 wheels per axle), TSA approved lock with a combination you can set, and telescopic handle for rolling. They are also lightweight. The inside of both suitcases is very similar. When opened, the bottom part has a set of straps to hold clothes down, while the top has a flap with a mesh zippered pocket. My son and I took these two suitcases on a trip recently, and they held up well. There were no issues. I like the textured look. I prefer the black color, but my son likes the blue color better. In comparison to other suitcases, these are missing some features on higher end, more expensive suitcases. For instance, they do not have an expansion zipper for added room. Some suitcases also have a flap on the bottom part of the suitcase when opened (an addition to the strap like this one) to hold clothes in place; these do not. The "secret sauce" regarding these suitcases is the value of getting all three matching suitcases in three different sizes (20", 24" and 28"). They are no frills, basic suitcases at a fair price. I would recommend this suitcase set based on the 28" and 24" I've reviewed. They look nice, they're lightweight, and they are sturdy enough to have survived a trip. ... show more

This is a nice hard shell carryon. It is a 20" suitcase but more like 22" if you include the wheels and handle. It can be pulled easily with the retractable handle. It looks nice and stylish. It is divided into two compartments. One side can zip close and other side has an X strap across it. There is one large pocket on the divider. I am pleased with this especially because it has the wheels on it. They are made of hard plastic and look pretty sturdy. This suitcase also has a TSA accessible lock built in. ... show more

    • Wheels could use an upgrade
I used this suitcase for my weekend trip a few days ago, and it exceeded my expectations. The spinner wheels make moving the luggage quiet since the fluid motion of the wheels reduces the resistance and makes navigating through the crowded airport so much easier. However, I wish the wheels were rollerblade quality since I see them lasting only a few trips. Aside from that, I can quickly move the bag without using much of my arms due to the ergonomic, adjustable handle and four wheels. Also, the heavy-duty hard casing of the bag kept my items safe and secure while stored on the bottom of the plane. I was watching the team load the bags onto the plane, and let's say that they weren't necessarily cautious about how they were handling it, so when I picked it up from the baggage claim carousel, there were some scratches on the outside of the case, but nothing inside that was damaged, including a bottle of wine which I had packed away. ... show more

The first thing I appreciated about this suitcase is how it was packed, with an extra piece of cardboard to prevent you from slicing it when opening the box. The mint green color I got is also very pretty and just as expected. I really wanted this suitcase for the code lock also, which I still have to figure out how to set as it’s not immediately clear. The cons is that this suitcase it mainly plastic so it does not seem very sturdy. Even the wheels and handles are plastic so I feel they can and will very easily break and it’ll really be luck of the draw as to when— will an airport agent be too rough tossing it the first time, will your wheels snag on the old cobblestone of Europe and you’ll have to do some heavy lifting after that, will the handle break off while you’re carrying it up stairs— it’s really hard to say but I’m hoping it surprises me and holds up well. However if you are in a pinch and not an avid/frequent traveler, this seems like a nice suitcase especially with the lock code and should last you decently. It is also a pretty good price for that lock and the size and style of this suitcase. It really depends how much money you want to spend and how worthy of an investment a suitcase is for you. ... show more

    • why can't they include combination instructions?
It is a nice case that rolls super easy... and that is my main criteria in a carryon. HAS to move smoothly. The only thing wrong with it, and seems to be a common thing... no instructions on resetting the combination! At least it came with 000 and open to start. Will either not use a combo or look on youtube. Aqua color case, very pretty color than is easily spotted on carousel. Does not expand. ... show more

Seems like a decent carry-on and/or check-in case. It is lightweight, and provides all of the features one would expect these days, such as a TSA lock, wheels, and an extendable handle. As others have noted, the handle is flimsy. If it broke on a trip while you are counting on it to pull the luggage through the airport, you would not be happy. Other than that, it appears to be well made. As with all luggage, the proof is in how it will hold up with the abuse of baggage handlers at airports. This suitcase is roomy! I honestly wasn't sure if 28inches was going to be big enough for me but this suitcase is definitely enough space. I absolutely love the unusable color (mint green) so my suitcase will be easier to find. Also, the TSA lock was easy to set. It came with directions that was simple to follow and execute. The interior of the suitcase has multiple places were you can hide a airtag if needed. Lastly, the wheels glide across thr floor and carpet.
