Overall, this is a nice, minimalistic Roller Seat…just what I wanted. Well packaged. Press-fit the pneumatic piston and seat to the base and its ready to use. Soft seat (12.5” Dia), good paint job and wheels freely roll and spin. Unfortunately, the piston and/or control arm is not good at all. (In this case, would have been better to have a mechanism like a car jack-stand, rather than the current piston.) If you plan to set and forget the height or rarely adjust it, this is for you. If you frequently adjust the height, look elsewhere. Out-of-the-box, the piston/control arm does not freely or easily change height up or down. And, often, it simply just doesn’t move either way at all. To go up, I have to flip the Roller Seat and pull on the piston. To go down (I’m ~180 Lbs), it never freely lowers, but rather vacillates between not doing anything and lowering about 1/4” to 1” at a time, so you end-up repeatedly “pumping” the control arm. Lastly, don’t pull up or push down on the plastic grip/tab at the end of the control arm…it very easily bends and cracks. Works for me, but only because I’m not asking it to do everything a real Roller Seat should easily do. ... show more

Just replacing My old wobbly low cost stool I wore out. This guy is solid yet same construction / assembly design. Seat is a bit bigger and when I pulled the release lever to adjust My height - -wow ! It almost threw Me off. Got to get used to that. Yes I like it. This time I put lock tight Red on those bolts that loosen from rolling around the floor. ... show more
