This is one of the best squirt guns I have tested (out of 7) and it has good a range (it can shoot 20 to 25 feet easily when pointed level and up to 30 feet if pointed upward). It also has quite a bit of extra features like cool blowback movement, a transparent muffler that has lights on the end that illuminate with each shot and an aimer that slides onto the top that also hides the battery. It is worth mentioning there are still a few electronic squirt guns that do not have quick change batteries so the fact that this squirt gun has one (hidden in the aimer) is definitely a bonus. Another cool thing about this electronic squirt gun it that it can actually be used manually; the instructions say if your battery runs out and you still want to squirt someone with water all you have to do is pull back on the slide and let go and I tested it out and indeed it does work. And it is also worth mentioning that the battery does last quite a while and when we were testing out this squirt gun we refilled the drum several times with water and the battery still had charge, so I am not sure exactly how long it will last but clearly a long time. So the bottom line is that this is an excellent performing squirt gun with good range, cool blowback action, a neat transparent muffler with a built in light, a long lasting quick change battery, the ability to be manually operated and is just fun. Among the seven electronic squirt guns I have tested so far this year, this one is definitely one of the best. Hope that helps.

Open the box, assemble it, charge the battery, and begin swimming pool war games with your friends! Not a ton of water comes out. more of a lot of short spurts, but it is fun. The unit fills quickly so you're never out of action for long. This will be a staple this summer around the pool!

The media could not be loaded. This is a fun toy and I'm sure kids will enjoy it this summer. I would not use this around a pool or body of water. The electrical parts seem to be more water resistant than water proof. Splashes of water are OK, immersing in water is not. The silencer contains its own battery and is removable. All it does is make the flash as the water goes by the sensor but water tends to collect inside of it causing the light to stay on or not flash. Pouring out the excess water seems to resolve that. The battery for the firing is inside the removable sight. You can also fire this by pulling the slide back and releasing it so it works even if the battery is dead. It only sprays out to about 20 or 25 feet. Included are two USB cables to charge the signt and silencer. The one for the sight uses an unusual connector so don't lose it!

The media could not be loaded. This automatic squirt gun is an absolute blast! The rechargeable battery lasts a long time, and the lighting effects, especially on the silencer, give it a cool, almost cinematic feel (it totally reminds me of The Godfather). The water drum holds a good amount before needing a refill, and while the stream isn’t completely steady, it shoots in fun, “bullet-like” bursts, making it even more exciting. It’s great for both kids and adults. We’ve had so much fun playing around with it! Definitely a great buy for water battles!
