This is far from a small battery. Of course, when you realize it is very nearly 50,000mAh you'll understand why the bulk is rather necessary. I have 3 other external batteries (between 15,000 and 20,000mAh) that also feature solar charging - but the each have something in common: the solar bank does not work. As in AT ALL. I am happy to report that unlike those, this one actually does seem to have a working solar bank included. Now keep in mind charging in this manner is rather slow, but hey, when you're without power, well, beggars can't be choosers, right? This charging bank has a few things going for it that truly help to stand above most of the rest out there, especially considering how much it cost. Did you bring your battery but forget to bring the charging cable? Well you're not alone...but that isn't an issue here because this one actually comes with a built-in USB cable, micro USB, Lightning and USB-C. Talk about convenient! But folks, that isn't all. If your device has wireless charging you'll love the included fast wireless charging ability. Not sure at what wattage it charges at, but it works, and that's what counts. At 49,800mAh, this battery ought to be able to handle most peoples charging needs and wants. Factor in the ability to self charge and you're set. I do wish to tell you that in order to use the wireless charging you'll need to do some experimenting to find the best way to position your phone or whatever device you plan to charge wirelessly before you'll find the right way to do it, so keep that in mind. At first I was almost convinced it didn't work at all, but I finally was able to place my phone down in any number of different positions and just kept trying till one worked. It isn't the easiest way to charge wirelessly that I've seen, but it isn't the worst, either. Just keep at it and have patience is my advice. The included lights just might work to help you out in many different ways but I don't think I've ever used mine at all, but for you it may be critical, so that's up to you, but they DO work and are actually pretty bright, too. Unlike my other 3 power banks I mentioned above, this one does not have the blinking light option along with just keeping the light on...this one just has on/off for the 2 lights, and that's all. Not sure if that's a deal breaker for you - but it wasn't for me, but figured I'd include it anyway. All in all this is an exceptional value and a hefty one at that. If you are a power user and need extra power that'll last? Look no further.

This is a great charger. The light is bright and it fast charges. I think it's can charge 4 times before I have to charge the unit. When plugged in the unit charges fairly fast. The solar part doesn't charge fast at all. For what I do with it this is perfect

It’s a good charger with plenty of capacity and is highly versatile. However, it is big and bulky. If you’re looking for something to fit in your back pocket, this is not for you. While a relatively minor issue, the lanyard that comes with it is practically useless and adds to the clunkiness of the unit. I took it off after realizing that I hated it. Also, the compass on the lanyard doesn’t work unless you move it away from the charger and take it off the key ring. I like to take the charger with me when I travel. Put it in a seat back pocket with a long cord and it will keep things going for hours.

Based on my experiments with this power bank, solar charging doesn't work when the bank is dead. I received this device for Christmas. I put this on my Christmas list because I was interested in using the solar charger off-grid when camping or if there is an emergency and power goes out for many days. I live in an area prone to hurricanes. The solar panel is small, so I had modest expectations for the power it could deliver. I would have been happy if I could solar charge the bank all day on a sunny day and use it to charge my phone enough to make a 10-minute phone call. I devised an experiment to see if this is possible. I charged the bank completely using a USB fast charger. Then, I used the bank for several days to keep my cell phone charged until the bank was dead. Yesterday, the first sunny day since Christmas, I left the dead bank in the sun for about six hours. I repositioned it hourly, so it was always facing the sun. A green LED is supposed to come on when the bank charges from solar, but the LED never turned on. I left it in the sun despite this. That evening, I tried to charge my phone from it, but it wouldn't charge my phone at all. Today, I "primed" the bank by charging it for 5 minutes via a USB fast charger. Then, I placed it in the sun, repositioning it every hour. The green solar charge indicator came on immediately. After six hours of solar charging, I plugged the bank into my phone. It charged my phone for 32 minutes and got its battery from 18% to 54%. In an off-grid situation, being unable to use the solar charger when the bank is dead is too risky. I could use it off-grid for days on end if I were careful never to discharge it completely. However, I would eventually make a mistake and completely discharge the bank. Once that happened, the bank would be useless until I could access another power source and "prime" it again. Verdict: I'm returning this.

I bought this for power outages. So far I would definitely buy again. I love the fact that this power bank has FAST wireless charging. Not all these look a like power banks have fast wireless charging. (I found that out the hard way by buying another brand to start off with). This particular type of power bank is sold by different sellers and they don't have the same charging speed even though they look same except for some color variations ( color of the corners) (red,blue,orange,black,green,) . When buying this type of power bank read the description CAREFULLY. Even though they look the same there is a difference in charging speeds. I would definitely buy this brand again. Unless some unforseen problem comes up. My Samsung S24 says this power bank has fast wireless charging. Another brand I bought did not have fast wireless charging and it was going take twice as long to charge according to my Samsung S24. I thought I would add this last part to show this was from a reliable source.
