In 2022 I had chalkboard in my classroom and a teacher to student with special need i found some students attempting to eat the chalk while others with sensory needs would not participate on the board. Had to figure out a way since the school didn’t have a budget to replace my boards. A google search brought me to this and i invested and not only did it brighten my class it change my class engagement level. Installation was done by me.     • Very large but worked great
First, it's very large. Measure and make sure it will fit where you're going to use it. We used it for a party to keep scores, rankings, etc. for outdoor games. It worked wonderfully! We put on a large (8 foot) sliding patio door. It takes 2 people to put it up so there aren't a lot of bubbles. Easy to mark and erase but we didn't leave the marker on for a long time so not sure how much it will stain over time. We had it up for about a week. It was easy to take down, left no residue, and caused no damage. We plan to use it again so we needed to put the plastic cover on the stick back and that was a little tricky.     • Make sure you have it exactly where you want it
This was a great buy, the whiteboard is thick, erases well, and shows marker well. I hung the screen on a window in my office to not only create privacy, but for the functionality of a whiteboard. I would say definitely be sure where you want to place it, make it straight, ensure it's straight (I used tape), then stick it. I was hanging this up by myself, and so it wasn't straight the first or second time I hung it, meaning I had to unstick it to rehang it. The good news: it was easy to unstick and did not leave residue on the window. The bad news: I have permanent creases in the whiteboard screen. The creases are a testament to how thick the screen is, which is a good thing, but it might be better to have 2 people helping with the install. Because I have it on a window, I can say the back sticky part shows up as a matte gray, and actually helped me see where I could press harder to stick. This purchase comes with an eraser cloth. It DOES NOT come with a squeegee for the install. Overall, great buy and I would purchase again. ... show more

    • Worked great on my stainless fridge
I was stuck getting a stainless fridge. They show every fingerprint - ugh, but this covers it nicely, and fridge magnets still work, and I can write on it. I used a large rectangle of it in my home office and it works great there too (on a painted cupboard door). Not going to be moving either piece around a lot, so can't comment on ease of removal/reapplying. ... show more

I Bought this whiteboard and had it on my wall for about 7 months. The whiteboard aspect of it worked great, exactly what I was hoping for. So if you're looking to buy for a good whiteboard and are putting onto a concrete, stainless steel, etc... type of surface this is an awesome product. However, if you are putting onto a wall with any paint on it I would go somewhere else. You can see in the image attached the outline of where the whiteboard was (this isn't an issue, the wall is just a little dirtier than where the whiteboard was blocking it). However, you can also see the giant clumps that it tore off of my wall. I pulled it off as slowly and as gently as I could and yet it still manhandled my wall. I had a cheaper one of these on a separate wall and no paint tore off so...I'm disappointed that the name brand post it one wasn't nearly as good when it came to removing from my wall. Long story short, if you're not on a paint wall, go for it, it's an awesome whiteboard. However, if your going to be putting it onto a painted wall, go elsewhere. ... show more

Covered a chalkboard with this item. Looks as great a real white board worth the cost and effort to put up. Much cleaner, easier to read, and use more often than the chalkboard.
