I like the rain coat very much. However I feel the hood is too small, barely reaching my forehead, and it is only attached in the back, which allows it to be easily blown back by the wind. I installed snaps in the corners and an the collar to keep it in place.

I walk to work at night, 11pm and then home in the morning 5am. The intersections that I use have had several deaths in the last couple of months, pedestrian illegally crossing, but also not being seen by drivers. I want to safe and dry, and this rain coat is perfect for that. Truly a blessing. It fit great, a little big, but I wear several layers of clothes underneath and I wanted that.

It has all the details to keep water out: (1) elastic tight at wrist wit overlapping sleeve; (2) a zipper and overlapping lip you close with buttons to keep the water from coming through the interlocking fastener. Low enough to reach the top of my boots so I am dry low to high. Hood is fine and tucks away into its own pouch fastened with Velcro. Fits as expected. Very bright at night. Hood is well-sized and has draw strings. Snapped cover for throat. Excellent price-point-for-quality.

I drive a 🚛 and make several stops every workday. if it's raining, I cannot wait until it let's up so I'm out in the rain using both hands to open and close doors, connect and disconnect air lines, crank handles, and walk in the rain to shipping offices. ponchos offer less coverage, blow open in the wind, and don't allow me to use my arms without getting rain all down my sleeves. this kept me perfectly dry during the past two days of nonstop rain. high visibility material lets me be seen in dark lots at night, so I feel much safer. this is a good value at this price point. I'm a male that is 5 ft 9 in and 160 lb and I bought an extra large so that I would have a little room to wear layers underneath on cold days. it fits perfectly and meets my expectations of having enough room to wear a fleece underneath if I need to or even a light jacket. very importantly the hood is large enough to extend beyond my face by a couple inches so that I don't have a waterfall running down my face.

I bought this rain coat because of its length and the hood that stays up and out of my eyes while I am getting my work done. I am a tractor trailer driver and have to do many drop and hooks during my shift. Anyone you does this work knows you can get pretty wet while hooking and in unhooking air lines and electric then cranking down landing gear, getting wheel chocks in and out, unlocking the door and opening them. This rain coat is a real help, it is not real heavy, it has has a nice elastic band that goes over you wrist up in the coat away from the end, the reflective stripes are nice and wide and the color is bright to you can be seen well night and day. I carry this in my truck everyday, it only takes up about a foot square and a couple of inches thick and when it is wet it dries quickly hanging up. Make sure you take the advice of the sizing chart, it will ask about your waist size don’t lie and get full measurement around your waist you won’t regret you did, if you do exactly what it says it will fit correctly. My chest is smaller than my waist, so my chest said 3x but waist said 4x so bought the 4x glad I did. I highly recommend this coat.

The jacket is nice for the price. I am 5'7 and I bought the 48'' and it comes down below my knees. The material is not to thin, but it's not overly tear resistant either...but for the price I suppose it strikes the right balance. If you don't plan on getting hung or snagged on anything then it's a good deal. If your job has lots of snagging obstacles then I would pay the extra money for something that is much thicker material. I am happy with the purchase overall.
