I am using this portable washing machine to wash dog diapers. I was washing 5 dog diapers (that are for a small-medium sized dog). I realized that 5 dog diapers caused the washer to be overloaded, for the water level I was using. When I only had 3 dog diapers in the washer at this water level, it worked great. I did add liquid detergent to the wash water. Once the wash cycle was over, I dumped the water out & rinsed the dog diapers with the bath tub faucet, then squeezed the water out of them & then hung them out to dry. I made sure to rinse out the washing machine, since there was dog hair in there & I had used detergent. Main downside is that the washer can really only handle 1 or 2 items at a time, maybe 3 if they are small dog diapers.

Not going to wash a pair of Pants in this!! But shorts ,socks, wash rags or unmentionable your covered.. Came undamaged. There is one big button on the bottom that lets you select from 3,10,5 min. the plug is a DC12v 2A so you can use a low voltage 12v 2 amp batttery via. an adapter plug just watch your amps output.

This is a neat little compactable washing machine for camping or long road trips. It does require an electrical outlet to run, but most camp sites nowadays have hookups available. Or you can run this using a car converter with a regular outlet. It is small and meant for just the essentials, like underwear, socks and maybe a thin shirt or two. A pair of shorts also fits in here. Large shirts and jeans are too stiff and big for this machine. It turns the water and items inside, but don't expect a miracle. It will clean similar to light handwashing, without the mess. Fill it up with water to the fill line, plug it in and turn it on, then drain the dirty water afterwards. It's pretty simple to operate. The lid doesn't stay on the machine and keeps popping off, but it easily pops back on and stays on while in use. Your clothes will be very wet when done washing, so rinse them off, wring them out and hang them up to dry afterwards. I really like how compact it gets when you fold it up for storage. They included a little tube that connects to the drain, so that you can direct the water a little further away from where the machine is if desired. I would recommend this to anyone who is away from home and doesn't have access to a washing machine and doesn't want to hand wash the essentials. You'll still want to wash your larger shirts, pants and jackets using a normal sized machine.

I've seen these types of mini washers popping up more and more over the last 6 months or so, and I've been really interested in testing their performance. So, one of the big questions here is 'How many items can this thing hold?' I was able to get 4 adult XL shirts inside for one load. One catch to this; if you do not fill the water up to the top, then you will not be able to get the maximum capacity out of this product. At four shirts, the impeller was able to swirl and whirl my shirts. Just like the title of my review, I love this product specifically for bleaching whites. When I bleach whites in my regular 'high efficiency' machine, I'm never quite satisfied. I haven't been satisfied since they made everything 'high efficiency.' With this product, you can bleach the clothes, and run it through the 10 minutes cycles twice if you like. My whites turned out great and better than my regular washer can do. Aside from that, there are some flaws with this product. The product comes with a drain hose which I find useless. At the bottom of the product, is the drain plug. If you were to use the drain hose, there is no plug for it, so you would have to unplug the drain and quickly attach the hose, and by this time, you already have 16 ounces of water spilled over your counter. They should have designed this so the drain hose has a plug at the end. You'll have to do at least two cycles. One cycle for washing, and one cycle for rinsing. I didn't get the model with the rinse basket, but I really don't thing it would be very effective anyway. You're probably better off just wringing the clothes by hand and hanging them up on a line outside. It is pretty difficult to wring them as well as your washer does, so if you throw them into the dryer, you're going to use a whole lot more energy drying them. This type of product is really well suited for traveling or, "Dad I need to wear this outfit tomorrow for school," and it's already 9:30 at night. For traveling, your real challenge is going to be drying the clothes. I really don't know how you'll do that in a hotel room. If you ever had to hang up swim suits in a hotel bathroom, you know they don't dry in there. Overall, I actually like the product. In some part it provides peace of mind. If my washer ever goes down, I'll have a way to wash clothes without going to a laundromat. They may be small loads, but I'll be able to get it done relatively effortless. It's not a perfect product, but I recommend it.

I honestly expected to return this mini washer ..... however ... to my pleasant surprise ... it works well !!!!! I had a towel that I love ( don't we all have something we can't get rid of ) that had a stubborn makeup stain that would not wash off by hand. This little washer did the trick ... towel was like brand new again. The one think that I did learn was this: DO NOT overload the machine. the agitator needs to have plenty of room to move back and forth. For the 3 or 5 minutes that it takes to wash an item or 2, doing a full load one by one would not be a chore. I live in a darling but tiny studio and have had NO washer/dryer. Have been washing everything by hand for almost 9 years. This mini washer is a breath of fresh air for me. Hope it lasts ... most happy with my purchase

Got this as a goft for a friend who doesnt have the space for a full washer and dryer. They have been putting this to good use. It doesnt hold as much as I would want, as Im a larger guy, I can see this having its audience.
