For the price, I found this portable monitor to be really great! The picture quality is super sharp, bright, and has good color quality. The 16:10 aspect ratio gives you a bit more space to work with than a 16:9 aspect ratio. This works perfectly to use as a second screen for my laptop. The whole setup was truly plug and play with just a single USB-C. The monitor also works great with my Raspberry Pi and I even used it with my phone for a quick presentation. It's very thin and light, which means that it's easy to pack around in a backpack without taking too much space. The built-in speakers are nice for watching videos or making a quick call. Everything seems really well made. At under $50, it's honestly an incredible value. This is a great monitor to have as a student, traveler, or for any other purpose; this is a solid monitor to pick up if you want a cheap, reliable monitor while on the go.

Travel overseas with this all the time and it's durable, lightweight and works. I had another monitor that was oled, much higher end. But it was also a lot heavier and more fragile. So even though the picture isn't as good on this monitor, it's much more practical for getting under carry on weight limits when flying. The monitor is easy to connect and use. It doesn't come with a case, but you should definitely get one.

I've been looking to create a minimalist desk setup built around my Mac, which mostly lives in a dock. Instead of a big, bulky traditional monitor, I decided to take a chance on this 16-inch portable one to be my primary display, and I'm so glad I did. The screen quality is what blows me away—the 1920x1200 resolution is sharp, the colors are vivid, and the IPS panel looks great from every angle. As the user noted, the visuals are amazing. The 'plug and play' aspect is legit. I just run a single USB-C cable from my dock, and it handles both power and the video signal. It's incredibly clean. And, of course, the portability is a huge bonus. If I ever need to travel, I can just unplug it and toss it in my bag with my laptop. The only downside, which is pretty much expected for a monitor this thin, is the built-in speakers. As the user mentioned, the sound quality can be better. They're pretty weak, so I just use my separate computer speakers, which isn't a big deal for me. For a high-quality, slim-profile screen, this thing is fantastic.

Rightly priced! Very nice portable monitor! Exceptional value for productivity! I love the 1200pixels vertical resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) which is great for editing documents and programming. Colors are somewhat dull and unsaturated, so probably not a good option for graphics related work. Audio played just fine via HDMI. For those who complain that it is not 16:9 widescreen -- this aspect ratio is the same as MacBook. I am assuming video playback will just leave top and bottom black bars which is just fine. Removing one star because one monitor out of the two I bought looked like a returned item. I bought a third one which is still in the box.

The YPI 16" portable monitor is a simple and handy screen that’s easy to carry around and set up. It has a clear Full HD display that looks bright and colorful from different angles, which makes it good for schoolwork, games, or just watching videos. The two Type-C ports make connecting it to devices pretty quick since one cable can handle both power and video. Because it’s very light and thin, it fits easily into a bag and doesn’t feel heavy when traveling. It also has different display modes you can switch between, like extended or portrait, depending on what you’re doing. There’s even an HDR option that makes the picture look more detailed. edit: stopped working after a month, doesn't detect the computer. dead pixels. overall horrendous after initial good experience

This monitor is revolutionizing how I am able to work remotely. I'm WFH and it has been a constant struggle to find ways to easily work during video calls, share screens, monitor slack, etc. This monitor is extremely light, affordable, and all around been a blessing to my workflow (not to mention its actually larger than my work laptop's screen). The monitor does not have an in-unit battery, however it is able to easily draw power from the device it is displaying (aside from smaller electronics like phones), so there are not multiple cords coming in and out of the device. The package also came with a Mini HDMI to HDMI cord, which has been very helpful in connecting to my personal desktop. All around a great product at a bargain price!

I was looking for one of these for a while and it was definitely worth it. Its portable and light and its not a burden to take around with you. Its really easy to set up and I had no issues with thay process. Its a pretty durable monitor for the price and its decent quality . I wouls say this is the perfect screen size for a portable monitor m the picture quality is clear enough to game and enjoy on. No touch screen but still amazing!!!

The good news 1st: Single cable connection using the included USBC-USBC cable functions properly on my Macbook Pro M4 using the Thunderbolt 4 ports, and also an older HP Intel based Linux system usingThunderbolt 3 ports. Acceptable (but not robust) construction. Now the bad news: Trying to use the single cable connection on multiple Intel based machines running Windows 11 (24H2) initially seems to work well (both in USB4 and Thunderbolt ports) as the screen operates normally -BUT- Windows repeatedly pops up a windows saying a USB device has failed! Another reviewer who gave 2 stars describes the same issue. There is not enough information given (there's an unhelpful entry in Device Manager fwiw) to determine where the issue actually lies but it is quite annoying. My guess would be that there is some kind of power managment initialization that is failing since everything else seems good! Whether older versions of Windows escapes the issue or if it's even a bug in Windows I don't know. Time will tell if future windows updates resolve the problem. But until then I'll need to use 2 cables and pick up a USBC-MiniHDMI cable to test for machines that lack built in HDMI port. So I give an additional star more than the other reviewer because the monitor is inexpensive and will mostly meet the subset of Mac and Linux users' expectations. A lot of Windows users are apparently already disappointed though given that Amazon has flagged these for frequent returns.
