I like to write reviews after I've used things for awhile. After pumping up two inflable paddle boards for 2 summers, I can honestly say this pump delivers as promised and is dependable. It's a little noisy when the motor kicks in to get higher pressures, but boards inflate in about 10 minutes. Haven't had any overheating issues, but I do it a break in between pumping whem I roll out the second board, probably about 5 min. Anyways, get this pump it beats the heck out of manually doing it with the board provided pumps.

We have a couple of inflatable boats and paddle boards for playing with out on the water. They come with hand pumps that not only take forever, they use a twist connection that none of my electric pumps (the standard air mattress kind) work with correctly. I thought it was a weird proprietary valve until I realized our paddle board uses the same one. I saw this electric pump advertised and noticed it has attachments that look like it, and what do you know! It fits! FINALLY I don't need to manually pump for hours before going out on the water! It has two modes, low and high, as well as an inflate and deflate nozzle which are pretty self explanatory. It requires a 12v socket so you'll need your car or DC power supply handy when using it. I personally found that the "high" setting, while very loud, did not seem to do as much as the low setting. I personally have been getting by with just the low setting, I'm not sure if I'm using the high one wrong of if perhaps mine is broken. Removing one star for that, but keeping 4 because this is such a time saver, I can't imagine ever going back to manual pumping!

I’ve used this pump several times and I haven’t had any real problems with it. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the product description on amazon said that it could fully inflate a paddle board in something like 11 minutes. It definitely takes at least 20 min. My husband inflates his paddle board with a hand pump in less time than it takes me to use the electric pump. It also heats up quite a bit so you would definitely need to let it cool down if you inflated more than 1 paddle board. Even though it’s slow I still like to use this pump so that I can save my arm strength for paddling.

The media could not be loaded. We've got a bunch of inflatables for use out on the lake from kayaks and paddle boards to a gigantic yellow rubber ducky. Even using a good two stage manual pump, it is a decent amount of effort to fill just one but inflating 3 or 4 is a serious amount of work. Honestly even if you only had one thing to pump up, an electric pump would be really nice, and this one is a lifesaver. Pros: - Adaptors attached to the end of the hose can fit pretty much anything from a beach ball to an inflatable bounce house, let alone watercraft so all the bases are covered there. - The build is quite sturdy, and it doesn't feel cheap or hollow. - The carrying handle is a nice touch and handier than you might think. - I love the method of operation with the digital display which is super easy to use. Dial in the pressure you want, hit a button and forget about it. - The power cord storage is fantastic; you just wind it around the circular top and pop the 12v adaptor into the socket. - It inflates pretty quickly, the video doesn't show it well because it is only showing pressure, but my sup board was slowly unfolding itself as I was inflating it. The first stage is just blowing air really fast, then it hits stage two where it needs pressure, and it clicks on and gets loud. Cons: - It is loud in the second stage, and it kind of whistles in the first like when you blow throw a ribbed straw. That being said, all pumps are loud, and I didn't find it that different from others like it. Overall, this is a great pump and if you're someone who has inflatable watercraft it is a must have. It is also not only great for that purpose, but really inflating anything; for example, if camping you could use it to inflate a mattress, pillows, or even one of those new inflatable tents. The adaptors make it useful for all manner of things, the cord storage is great, and even the carrying handle is nice. On top of all that it represents a good value when compared to others like it.
