Solid little tool for conditioning — especially for BJJ. Build quality feels durable and the resistance dial actually makes a difference. Turn toward + and breathing gets seriously challenging, which is great for breath control and gas tank work. The dial does feel a bit loose at the lowest setting (–), but it tightens up as you increase resistance. No impact on performance — just something to note. Mouthpiece is comfortable and stays put with a light bite, like a snorkel. Easy to rinse and reuse. Biggest downside: the instructions are terribly translated and confusing. Setup is simple once you ignore the manual. My grandson wanted to try this, nana was busy and did not do the research like I usually do. When it arrived I was not comfortable with him using it just because it might help with sports breathing. This may work ok with older users or someone with breathing difficulties but I did not think he needed to use it. I am sure I could have returned it but it was my mistake in not doing my research so I tossed it, lesson learned. So I think it depends on age and reason for using it. ... show more
