Amazing!! So glad I bought it, and works well with heavy medical textbooks!!! Strong and efficient. The little page holders work also, so you could use them if you want ~ shown in the first image~ (I’m not going to because my textbooks are pretty thick and readings are 100+ pages due for one chapter, and it seems like a pain to have to remove the little page holder arms everytime I need to go to the next page 😅) but this is such an amazing item. You will not regret buying it!! For reference, in the photos attached, my book has over 1000 pages (I think 1,050?) and it does a great job!!!

I am a law student and a book stand is a must to help save my neck and back! This stand folds up to be thinner than most of my books and fits in my bag easily, which is a pro especially since my other stand is giant and wooden and does not want to stay flat. It is definitely not as high quality as my wooden one, and the ease of setting the legs to the correct angle is a little ‘sticky’ but for someone who needs a book stand that’s thin and easy to handle, I would still recommend.

I use this mostly for reading while camping. It works great and folds down so it doesn't take much space to store or carry with. I also use it at home some. It's nice not to have to hold the book or tablet all the time.

Mostly plastic construction which makes it lightweight aka portable. Holds a variety of book sizes and thicknesses with no issues. If reading thicker books the metal tabs tend to flex which eventually bends them out which will prevent the unit from closing properly. Easily fixable by bending them back. Can't go wrong at this price point.

I use this for law school and because our books are so large, the bottom part of the stand has no resistance anymore and pitches forward toward the table, so my book isn’t really being held up anymore. For the price, it lasted one semester so I can’t complain but just know they’re not the most durable. I put mine through a lot though

From the image, I expected this book stand to be bigger than it is. It is only a little larger than a standard 11" x 8" piece of paper. Folded up its depth is about as wide as the diameter of a dime. Will this hold my heavy textbooks? It does. I am able to use it with 500-page books with no problem. Getting the 1,000+ page books to lie flat enough for reading their beginning and ending pages is a little harder. I use one of the arms to hold the pages down and that works well enough. Breaking the spine would make the books lie flatter, but that is not something I like to do. There are silicone or some kind of plastic feet that help the stand stay in place and keep it from scratching my desk. The added bonus is that there is a 2" open area in the legs of the stand in the back that I am able to slide the base of a desk lamp under so that I have light on the pages. I had not even thought about that when I bought the stand and it has turned out to be a nice feature. I would have had to buy a light for the pages if I wasn't able to do that. I'm glad I bought this stand and not one of the bamboo ones or one with a solid base that would not let me slide my desk lamp up to the pages. It's a simple product that shows thought in its design.
