You get what you pay for. A backout piece of fabric you need to cut, some sticker velcro (you also need to cut) and there you have it. Nothing fancy at all but it works!

The material is amazing and helped significantly reduce the light and heat coming through the sky lights. The velcro adhesive that is included, however, does not hold very well. The adhesive came off the walls and tore the plaster off. Ended up just using pushpins to secure.

We were living in our camper while waiting for our house to be ready to move into. Our dogs tore up the curtains in the camper. I found these and thought, these will be prefect! They are!! They are SO easy to size, cut and install! The tacky on the velcro has done amazing in the heat (Texas 🔥) and it's stayed at least 5° cooler with no ac running in there, and even more when the ac is running! These were perfect! ... show more

Just to be clear, this is not a fabric curtain it is plastic that is black on one side and silver on the other. You cannot see through it no matter how bright the light on the other side is. Having said that it is perfect for covering any average size window that you need to completely block out light. They provide everything you need to measure, mark, cut and install the "curtain." It installs using Velcro so you can take it down and put it back up whenever you need to. It is relatively easy to install and with just a little effort you can darken the room.     • Make a BIG difference
With these black out window covers the change is instantly. You can literally feel the temp change on the room. You will be able to sleep much better however some days i sleep too long due to not knowing if the sun has yet come out because it’s so dark and cool in the room. Love it

Really these are AMAZING for keeping sun/heat out. However I think you should use your own tape/hook and loop to secure them. They include a good amount but not enough and these benefit from more points of contact with the window. The picture is of the sun directly hitting the window. With a few more pieces of tape no sun comes through at all. They are easyish to cut and measure. They also have lowered the temps by a huge amount across the basement by just covering a few windows. It is like the sun creates heat or something?? heh. ... show more
