  • Literally my most favorite thing
Style: White
Used with 3 types of Samsung Galaxy models in a variety of otter and slim cases, only using regular plastic sockets or swappable tops. This will only work with the regular sockets- Not metal, not lip gloss, not any other weird ones they've got out. I also use the charging area on the phone to gauge where I place the socket, so it's comfortable and placed in the correct area to use for this charger. I now own 2 of these. I bought the plain white one from here, Amazon, and then I have a design one I purchased directly from the PopSocket site. They no longer offer the designs, which is sad. But the performance is the same. I just set my phone down in the donut hole whenever I am around one, when I shower, and when I'm turning in for the night. Of course for use while needing a charge, I will still use the ports but not using them so often takes most of the wear and tear out of the situation. It's amazing to not knock my phone off my nightstand at night. IT DOES GET HOT Not ridiculously so, but enough to give you pause. It also makes settling noises while you're using it and honestly I was scared to death when I first got it. I wrote their support and expressed concern and first they said i was wither using an offbranded socket (not true) or the wrong type (ie anything other than the normal flat plastic ones). Once i confirmed that i was following the rules, they kind of acted like it was no big deal, no resolution or explanation, and they also removed the review I wrote lol But I've been using the designed one for over a year now, almost 2, and I've gotten used to the temperature and noises. It has not exploded, hurt my phone in anyway, warped literally anything, and still charges perfectly. It is ugly and I made fun of it for so long but I honestly love it so much. It's still ugly though. ... show more

  • Works but severely overheats within 30 minutes.
Style: White
I was thrilled to find a wireless charger that works with my iPhone 13 with clear pop socket, as well as other family members’ iPhones. But every time I place my iPhone 13 with pop socket on the charger, within 30 minutes there is a VERY loud notification sound that I have never heard before. When I pick up my iPhone, it’s so hot on the back and pop socket that I can’t touch or hold it for a minute or two until everything cools off. I had read that it’s normal for some heating to occur (see photo from the pop socket.com website), but this was so hot it could burn my skin. The wireless charger, the iPhone case on my phone, and the pop socket on my phone are all SCORCHING hot! Pretty sure that this is not good for my phone. 😞 ... show more

  • Great for pop-socket users, but slow, gets hot, and requires an outlet to charge
Style: White
I purchased two of these, one for my mom and one for myself, as we both have popsockets and are unable to do the wireless charging normally as a result. Works pretty well and does charge my phone with the popsocket on. Tried this without the popsocket and it also will charge the phone which is a cool feature if you have other people over that need to charge their phone, or decide to take the popsocket off. There are a few downsides however to this charger. This charger is slooooow, do not expect any sort of fast charge from this. It also tends to get really hot when you are charging your phone, even within a few minutes which could potentially hurt your phone and cause issues long term. It requires a wall outlet which isn't the end of the world, but would have liked to have been able to plug it into my computer. I've also noticed that when charging my phone with the popsocket on, it makes a high pitched electrical sound. Tested it without the popsocket and the sound is not present. If you have noise in the background you might not notice, but if you are in a quiet setting and have good hearing it might irritate you. ... show more

  • Great charger
Style: White
Love this charger! Easy to just lay my phone on top of it to begin charging. Only issue I had was my current PopSocket has metal around the rim and must be removed from my phone before it will charge. Metal interferes with charging.

  • Needs to be plugged in
Style: White
It’s a great idea and a solution to a normal wireless charging pad not working anymore when you have a pop socket on your phone. There are two important things to know though. 1) it needs to be plugged in. It comes with an ac adapter plug, but it needs to go into an actual outlet and doesn’t use a USB so you can’t plug it into your computer, dock or powerbank. 2) it won’t work if you have any metal on your case or pop socket. I happened to have a metal pop socket so it wouldn’t work - I had to replace with a plastic one to be able to use it. This ultimately solves the wireless charging issue, and it also charges my AirPods if I place the case on this pad, so it works but has some limitations. ... show more

  • Make sure you don't have a metal pop socket!
Style: White
I was really looking forward to wireless charging with my new iPhone, but wanted a Pop Socket on for grip and as a stand. When this product went on sale, I ordered it. I no longer have to fumble with my cables in the dark when I go to bed (my wife goes to sleep earlier than I do). When I unboxed it and plugged it in, I got a flashing red light and it wouldn't charge. I asked my daughter to put her phone in to see if it was broken, and it worked fine. After looking at the instructions, the red light indicated that there was metal interfering with charging. I realized my Pop Socket was actually metal. When I replaced the top of it with a plastic grip, it worked just fine. It gets a little warm while charging, but that's normal for all wireless chargers. I am happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • great product but a bit pricy
Style: White
ordered this after getting a part to make my phone do wireless charging. i love having a pop socket on my phone as well so i deiced to order this so i can charge my phone. oddly enough this charger is very slow to charge my phone and also builds up heat on the pop socket. no other wireless charger did this. i also think its a bit pricy for a wireless charger but since its a custom one made for pop sockets thats kind of expected. either way i am glad i got it and will recommend it to all my pop socket loving friends ... show more
