The charge lasted the eitire sweater. She had to empty the hopper about 8 times, that's how covered with these little "pills" it was. It is very easy to take apart and clean with the provided brush. Just used this device on a pillow that was badly pilled, and it looks brand new again! Excited to try on my clothing! The device is powerful but super gentle on the fabric, only removing the pills. I have bought several lint removers and this is the best one. It gets more than lint it also pulls off dog hair and is faster and sharper than the other brands I bought. The only issue that I have had is it opening up accidently while using it. It works good and stays charged for a long time.

I don't know why it took me so long to buy one of these! I absolutely hate the feeling of pilling on fabric and find myself constantly trying to pick each tiny ball of lint off with my hands, which takes forever. Now I can get such satisfying results with this fabric shaver. I've found it's great for a variety of fabric types! I've used it on my couch, t shirts, fleece, and it's even gentle enough to use on knit fabric like stuffed animals as seen in my photo. It really brings the fabric back to life! Definitely worth the money, even the cheap ones work well. I like the fact it is battery powered as opposed to rechargeable because I often find that rechargeable things charge don't last as long as I want. Only complaint would be the lint trap isn't big enough, so I have to empty it often.
