I bought the pattern with a black background and purple flowers, size 18-20. The material is super-soft, stretchy, flowy, and very lightweight. However, it doesn't seem to be see-through. I didn't test what happens if I stand in front of a bright light, but even if it ends up failing that test, I'd still be happy with it. I'm a size 18 so I bought a size 18-20, and it's pretty loose around the waist. I bought 3 more in size 14-16. This is the perfect business-casual skirt for me. I can wear it with all kinds of dressy tops, or with a sweater set, and still look professional. If I wasn't saving it for work, I'd wear it all weekend too, with a tshirt or tank top. It's way more comfy and lightweight than jeans or shorts, and is dressy enough for going out somewhere on a Saturday night. I'm super happy with what I got for the price I paid. ... show more

I bought one to see if I'd like it and ended up buying 2 more. I love these skirts! They are my favorite wardrobe item these days. They are DEFINITELY see-through and clingy. I have 3 in black. I'm fine with tights or capri leggings underneath. Ideally, I'd wear a cotton slip underneath. The more you wash them, the thinner they get. However, no holes, yet! I've had them for a few months, now. I love how long they are! I'm about 5'10", and it's hard to find to-the-floor skirts for me. These go there. Easy to wash and care for. I don't do anything special. The fabric may thin more slowly if you line-dry them. The shape has not worn out over time, which is unusual these days. Highly recommend these skirts. Especially for the cost! They go with everything. I wear them with sweatshirts and dressier tops, as well. I wear them with sandals or booties. I'm always comfortable and look nice. Soft material, not see through. Great fit. I bought a few, and I love them all. pretty vivid prints. Update, I just bought 3 more. I think I have all of the prints now. I wear a different one daily Prints are even nicer in person. I bought size medium for a straight look , love the material.

I bought several of these type skirts from various manufacturers trying to get at least one that fit well and looked good. Most of them were crap, but I like this one. I am not a small woman as I am 5'4" tall and weigh 230 lbs, so I am not delusional and thinking I will look anywhere as nice in this skirt as it is portrayed in the pictures. That being said, I still want to feel good in my clothes. This skirt fits the bill. I bought a 2X and it fits me well. The material is very nice. It is not too clingy. It drapes nicely and is a beautiful weight. It breathes, but it covers you up meaning it is not sheer at all. It is very comfortable too. As for the length, I can fold the waist over just above my hips and the skirt comes to the top of my feet. As I said, I am 5'4" tall, but I have very long legs for my height. I have a 29" inseam, so take that into consideration and adjust accordingly when determining the length for yourself. I hope this review helps, and for the record, I would recommend it. Update: I purchased 2 more of these skirts (royal blue and slate) and they are just as nice. The sizing, length and quality are consistent with the original skirt I purchased. ... show more

At first I loved this skirt, and it has laundered well over the last 2 years without looking old, and tired which is surprising for the price paid... BUT it lost most of its elasticity after the first 10 months or so. Initially after washing it was a great fit although quite long on me (5' 1"). I am able to fold the top down without it showing through my shirt. * If you're 5' 5" or taller I imagine you won't need to fold it. And it may very well be the weight I lost which wasn't much, but now the fit is really loose. Most of my other skirts in this style still fit very well, but this skirt was already loosening up, and the weight loss did it no favors for sure! I am not sure I would purchase again, IF I did it would be a size smaller, and I should probably have it hemmed up, because the material it's self has held up nicely, and almost looks brand new, AND it is a good price so...? It's kind of a toss up. If for whatever reason be it money, or you are a minimalist, or some other reason then I would skip this skirt. BUT if you just want a comfortable no frills, simple skirt (or can be worn as a dress) for a year, or so at a pretty cheap price then I would say buy it. Personally I will not be purchasing another one, as I am extremely busy raising kids, and a hobby farm with the husband, and prefer clothes that will last longer that a couple years. When I first opened I thought this was going to be too clingy for me but it fits beautifully. The materials is so soft, not like a silky soft but more a cotton soft. Has great stretch and doesn't lose the fit throughout the day. It was 90* the day I wore it and I was cool and comfy all day. I washed it in a garment bag in cold water and hung to dry....perfection.
