    • Easy set up and good quality. Not so much with foldability.

I have to return the item due to it being wrong size but good quality, sturdy and easy assembly. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is due to 2 things. One, when they say HOLD the tent together when opening the tent because it will pop open, they are not kidding. I was very surprised with how big it was as I was almost flying through the air and knocked flat on the ground! I’m laughing just thinking about that! Tent almost knocked me out! Second, I have not returned said item yet due to not being able to fold the tent back up without it popping back up. I don’t need 2 black eyes so I have decided to try again tmrw. The video that they provide to show how easy it is to fold up, well, either I was hit harder by the tent than originally thought or this man is an expert and not realizing people like me are watching. Slow it down (already had it set to the slowest speed and it was not helpful at all. I think I have lost 2 pnds wrestling with it for over an hour. I’m pretty sure my cats and dog were even laughing at how hard it was trying to keep it from popping open while trying to close it like a genie. Very comical but very frustrating. If I needed that size I would have happily kept it but it would never be taken down. It would live in my backyard. As I am finishing up my review I see 3 positives about the product below with checkmarks. 1 being FOLDABILITY!! I’m hysterically laughing!!! Maybe I do have a concussion LMAO! I looked for a long time for a product like this - a screened in tent like structure that an adult can stand up in while inside, that can be stakes down, and can provide shade and protection from mosquitos. This is IT! Not only does it check all my boxes, but it’s also the easiest thing to assemble. It basically opens up, pops out and stretches into a tent with mesh for sides. Amazing! I’ve wrestled with other varieties and brands of screened tents that I could never even get fully installed and I was so frustrated. In addition to being incredibly easy to pop up, this set also includes stakes and sandbags for holding it down in wind. Now it’s not going to withstand a storm by any means, but it was stable on a windy afternoon and even moreso when we were sitting inside it. Which is mostly how we’ll be using it. As someone who loves to fish and camp but always gets eaten alive by mosquitos, I’m thrilled to have this to escape to with my dog! She hates bug bites too… Putting this back into its carrying case is certainly not quite as easy as opening it up! But miraculously I was able to fold it in on itself, just a car windshield shade, until it fit into the round zippered bag. As other reviews state, it’s not large nor heavy, but just due to the size (I ordered the 12’) it’s just a big large to carry, but can easily be done. It’s more awkward than difficult. A carrying strap makes it easier as long as you’re tall enough to use the strap! ... show more

    • It's pretty cool
This thing is bigger than I thought it was going to be, both in terms of the internal space but also in terms of the "collapsed" and stored size. I'm torn on it because on the one hand it really is the absolute easiest screened-in tent I've ever put up because it literally is as easy as just unfolding it. And the octagon shape really maximizes the amount of space on the interior for a screen tent like this. It's not as ideal for putting around traditional picnic table as much as it is for creating a safe and shaded play area for little kids, or setting up a lounge area at a campsite if mosquitos are normally a hassle and you don't want to be drenched in bug spray the whole time. For those scenarios it works great! The issue is that it's still kind of sizable even when flattened down and put in the storage bag. It's not really an issue for storage purposes at home, but more about just carrying it from the car to wherever it needs to be set up. If it's a drive-in site then it's not an issue at all. But if it's a hike-in or you have to cart your gear to the beach/picnic area it might just be a little ungainly. Not heavy, just a little bigger than I thought it'd be. But I'm not taking away a star for that, and I honestly think the price on this was actually pretty good as well as it was listed for $129.99 when I ordered it. That's not cheap, but it's also less than what a lot of more traditional pop-up 10x10 canopies go for and this is far easier to put up. Putting it away takes a bit of practice (don't wait until the day-of or you'll be stressed while everyone at the beach/park/campground watches as you try to figure it out). Overall, I'm generally happy with it and we'll see how it fairs with more regular use this summer. ... show more

This screen shelter is exactly what we were looking for. The instant setup is impressive, and it really can be ready to use in about a minute once you get the hang of it. It provides plenty of room for our family, with enough space for chairs and a table, and the mesh walls do a great job of keeping bugs out while still allowing plenty of airflow. The material feels durable, and the UPF sun protection makes it much more comfortable to spend time outside during the hottest part of the day. It packs down into the included carry bag without too much trouble, making it easy to transport for camping, backyard gatherings, or the beach. The only reasons I'm giving it four stars instead of five are the price and the missing accessories. It works great and is perfect for our needs, but I do think it's priced a little on the high side. Also, the packing list shows that it should include a floor, a top support rod bag, and 18 sand/parts bags. My package was missing the floor and the top support rod bag, and it only included 7 sandbags instead of the listed quantity. Fortunately, the shelter itself performs very well, but I recommend checking the contents as soon as it arrives. Despite those issues, I'm happy with the screen room overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, easy-to-set-up bug-free outdoor space. Just check the price. ... show more
