The rich color of the gems is easy to spot even at the bottom of the pool. The plastic might scuff a little when bumping around on the bottom, but not enough to make any difference in how they look when in the water.

My kids and their friends can't get enough of this game! Tons and tons of little gems makes diving to the bottom purposeful and fun. The only downside is that it takes a while to collect them all when done playing. But the kids think it's worth the clean up collection :) and they get stored in the nice, mesh drawstring bag, so I'm happy!

Perfect pool toy for kids who are able to dive under water. OR you could still use these in the shallow splash pad side of the pool too. The set comes with TONS of plastic jewels, they are hollow but bright shiny colors. Not cheap looking by any means. They come with waterproof plastic feeling cards on a little ring to keep them organized but you can take them off if needed. You can have organized game play with a search and find activity for several kids, or do your own thing. You could also use these in table play/learning activities or in one of those water tables. The black mesh bag comes with the plastic treasure so it's easy to carry everything all together while letting them dry off as well. Definitely a great deal, just wish there were more variety of shapes. See my pics for reference.

My kids absolutely love this gem set! It comes with more than enough for my three kids to share and they love playing with them both in and out of the water. It's convenient that the waterproof cards come on a ring and there is a carrying bag for the gems that lets the water out. Would make a great gift for a summer birthday as well!
