Solid colors - and blue and an "reddish orange", no wrap. The most important is both roll straight. Perfect for the beginners that don't quite know cue features they prefer but want to get used to playing with their own cues or bring along to bars and pool halls that may have unreliable house cue quality. I recommend taking the cue to a cue repair place and get a new tip. Otherwise great house cue set.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review. My wife and I play pool a fair bit and recently my wife has been having some regular maintenance issues with her cues. This has resulted in her having down-time on her cues while we repair them and wait for things like adhesives to fully cure. I ordered these to give her some alternate cues for her bag so that she would always have a cue ready to go. These are very nice for the money. I would compare them favorably to cues costing about twice as much. They are a pretty standard two part design that thread together. Ferrules and tips are nothing spectacular but they are what I would expect to find on a cue at twice the price. The painted finish is quite nice and they are straight. Weight is good and my wife likes the way these feel when playing with them. I would certainly buy these for guest use at home or as starter cues. The included gloves are a nice bonus.

Overall the cue is made to pretty standard specs - it's made from maple, the length measured 57", and it weighs 19 ounces. The joint thread size is a billiard standard 5/16 - 18. The joint is smooth and there was no warping. There were a couple tiny nicks in the butt and a scratch in the shaft. They were minor, and I can't 100% say they where they happened. While I don't think it happened with me it could have, or during shipping, or along the manufacturing process. It's nothing that will effect play-ability, though. So the cue is a perfectly fine casual player cue, basic but nice and priced very fairly at $26. For more serious players, the tip is a little hard (hard tips miscue more). It looks like a solid piece of leather as opposed to multilayered. Finally, the taper is standard and not a pro taper and the weight can't be changed. It would be decent break cue.
