It took me a while to realize that this is what gave me a skin reaction. The day that I wore it I was itching so bad. I didn’t realize until I wore a second time that it has caused a bad skin reaction to the point, My doctors are trying to figure out what happened. It could be contact dermatitis, It could be an allergy they don’t know. We’re trying to figure it out. Where it was and wherever it touched on my scalp itches so bad that I can’t soothe it. Where it touched on my neck now itches so bad that nothing can treat it, where it touched my face itches and unfortunately, you can barely put anything on your face, so I am coping while we try to figure it out. And I had laid my head down, which seems like a norm thing when you’re tired, but for me not so well. It got into the crevice of my arms, so now the crevice of my arms itch. At first, my doctor thought it may have been a fungal issue, but those treatments didn’t work. Aloe Vera soothes it only for a few. I’m overwhelmed with this entire issue. I just want my money back. I’m sure it’s not human hair at this point.

The ponytail is nice, soft, no smell, pretty much what I’d expect. My only complaint is the drawstring is very rigid, and hard to pull. I’m hoping this will get better with use, but right now this is a problem!

I was looking for a Drawstring ponytail that matched my texture, and while the one that I used to wear that I got from the hair store matched well, it was such poor quality. I used to have to buy 3, 0r 4 at a time, cause after one day of wear they ended up looking like a bird's nest. (Not that I would expect much more from a piece that cost less than $15). I AM SOOOOOOOO GLAD THAT I GAVE THIS ONE A TRY. It matches my 3-C Texture Seamlessly, and it is so soft, and flowy. One draw-back, (if you can even call it that) is the track is visible once it's in, but that is easily remedied by just wearing a scrunchie, or a flat headband around the tail...also it has a very strong chemical smell, which I read about in other reviews before I bought it, which I didn't think would be a big deal to me, but it was...and I couldn't get past it, so I wet it, and soaked it in a very good smelling conditioner overnight...and now it smells like the conditioner...very good. This is my 2nd time purchasing this tail, I got 2 this time, cause I'm so in love with it. But the color is slightly lighter than the 1st one I got, so from now on I'll wait until the hair arrives to see what color of Bigen would work best. The 1st one was more of a 1-B; (off black). This time it's more like a Very Dark Brown. I held the 1st, and 2nd one side by side, and there is definitely a difference. But overall I am very pleased with it. I also don't put ANY product whatsoever on it, like sheen spray, or oil...that I found weighs it down, and it doesn't flow well....best to just let it sit in conditioner, and let it air dry.
