I put these high up (about 11 feet) on the side of my 40' Foretravel U320 motor coach, green on starboard side (right or passenger side) and blue on port side (left or driver side). They are bright, and they make my coach visible at night from a great distance. The LEDs are flat and made into an easy to apply adhesive backed ribbon. I ran them up the corner pillars aside the windscreen of the bus (attaching the battery boxes within reach from the ground) and then ran them just below the roof on either side. I will update this review after I take the coach on the road and see how they do under the rough and turbulent conditions of highway speed. I expect that the LED tape will do just fine, but I'm not sure the included double-sided adhesive square that secures the battery box will hold up mounted on the industrial bug smasher imean front end of my motor coach. I don't know what to expect for battery (3 AA) life, and will update when the batteries run down. Verdict: These cast a cool light. These are a cool addition to whatever you choose to mount them on in wet or dry environments.

These lights are a real easy, low-effort upgrade for any marine craft. The 16.4-foot length was perfect for my deck, giving a vibrant blue glow that is great for both safety and looks. I had a small problem getting them to adhere to the surface I put them on but they ended up functioning. Installation was super simple—they are wireless and completely waterproof, so you just peel and stick with no messy wirin'. They've held up to all the splashes and provide good courtesy lighting.

These pontoon lights have been great so far. The battery life is impressive, and the strips themselves are super flexible with that soft, gummy waterproof coating that really inspires confidence around water. The adhesive backing is pliable and feels strong - only time and temperature changes will tell how it holds up long-term, but so far, no issues. I didn’t notice any chemical or plastic odors right out of the package, which is always a plus. They’re marked for custom cutting, though I didn’t need to since I need multiple sets to line my boat. The color is a beautiful, crisp cold blue that looks fantastic at night. My only wish is that the strips were twice as long given they’re marketed specifically for pontoons. Otherwise, very satisfied with the look, performance, and quality.

Let me start by saying my off-grid cabin is about as seaworthy as a brick. It has zero pontoons. I bought these "boat lights" because I needed a lighting solution that didn't involve me becoming an amateur electrician and accidentally burning the woods down. I stuck these up along a beam, and the moment I turned them on, my rustic little shack was instantly transformed. It went from "cozy cabin" to "sci-fi command bridge" in about five seconds. The blue glow is fantastic. It's the perfect amount of light for moving around at night without blinding yourself. I'm pretty sure I'm confusing the local deer population, and the Sasquatch probably think the aliens have finally landed. Now, the box says "marine" and they feel like they should be handled with a bit of care. I'm not sure they'd survive a bar fight with a rogue wave. But stuck to a wall inside my cabin? Their biggest threat is a curious spider. For this job, they're more than tough enough. For turning a dark, boring cabin into a cool, futuristic man-cave with zero wiring and minimal effort? Absolute 5-star genius. My little land-locked boat has never looked better.

This is a great set and it is pretty cool that it runs on batteries. I didn't expect that such a low voltage would be able to power the entire thing but it does! It is perfect for camping, the boat, hikers, people who bike at night, and everywhere where a soft light is needed. Be advised that the batteries will die pretty quickly, but for short term operation it should be good. You could always have rechargeable batteries if you need to, and nowadays there are even solar chargers for recyclable batteries, which you can pair with this product. The tape itself is pretty good, but you may need some help in some areas, especially if the surface is not perfect for adhesion purposes. You are also given a square piece for securing the battery box.

This didn’t stay tucked more than 5 hours on the boat. And the batteries die quickly. I bought good batteries just to make sure it lasted but within an hour there was a noticeable difference in brightness. They were easy to install but the quality of the adhesive is sub par.

I have seen newer cars that have built-in colored interior LED lights, so I got this blue LED light strip. The LEDs are flat and nonobtrusive. I like that the strip was easy to apply. It has pre-installed adhesive along the entire length of the strip, so all I needed to do was remove the backing as each part of the strip was pressed onto the desired surface. I installed the strip in the foot wells of the driver and passenger sides. I did not need the entire length provided, and it was easy to trim as desired (there are scissors pictures on the strip which indicate where the strip can be cut). The control box takes three AA batteries, and the box comes with a double-sided adhesive square. I was able to attach the box to the left lower side of the dashboard, which makes it easily accessible.
