  • I can use it without the Bluetooth option
Pattern: USB-C Bluetooth Adapter Style: Headset
My work from home computer set provided by my company doesn’t support wireless/Bluetooth headsets. It doesn’t support usb c or usb a either, so the attachment it came with wasn’t helpful. I wanted to see if it was possible to use these headphones wired or corded to my computer set and sure enough it worked. I bought a “micro usb to usb” wire that supports gaming, calls, and overall audio from the brand tobysome on Amazon. It was about $10. Connected the micro usb to my headset and the usb to my computer and I had a working headset! And the noise cancellation still works. I have the noise cancellation at the highest setting which is a 2. I have 4 barking dogs. A husky, 2 American bulldogs, and a frenchy. Very loud and vocal dogs. I live in a house and they stay on the second floor while I work. I’ve tested the noise cancellation feature out while they were barking in unison and it does help to drown them out and it sounds faded or far away but the set doesn’t help to completely cancel the sound out with dogs barking. For other noises such as a low volume tv playing in the background or normal human chatter it does a good job. It’s way better than my non-noise cancelling headphones I had before which was very crystal clear and picked up on everything. I think the price could be lower. Another thing that could be better is the mute button. On this headset the mute button let’s you know when your on or off mute by a simple voice in your ear saying “mute on” “mute off” it would be so much better for other visual effects on the headset to indicate if your muted or not. For example on my old headset when muted you could see that there was a light with a “muted” logo to let you know visually you are muted because sometimes you can forget otherwise. But this headset doesn’t have anything like that. Besides that this is a pretty good headset, I do see some areas for improvement but it does a good job at drowning out most background noises which was my main reason for purchase. That is why I gave 4 stars ... show more

  • Best microphone noise cancellation ever, built for work not music, connection delay
Pattern: USB-A Bluetooth Adapter Style: Headset + Charge Stand, Teams Version
I bought these headsets for one reason only: To get good microphone noise cancellation for conversations in the background. Most headsets I got cancelled machine, music or animal noises but not other people's voices. This one however, cancels everything. I have been standing next to a TV while they are airing the news at full volume and the people in the meeting can't hear it.I am amazed. It's clearly built for work. Music and games don't sound as well in these ones as they do in the Corsair Void pro or the EKSA E900 Pro I own. Voices, however, do have a nice sound. I got the Teams version... which actually simple replaces the button in the center of the left side for a button that brings up Teams when pressed, or joins you to a meeting that has already started. I don't really use it, so I would have preferred to go for the regular version that pauses music with it. For some reason, when I press it while there's music or a video in the background and there are no active meetings, it changes the sound of that music drastically. I haven't found a way yet to return it to the original quality that doesn't involve restarting. There's some delay as it is wireless. It has been improved in the last few months (at least with the dongle, I don't know about connecting it through bluetooth) but it's very minimal. Sometimes it would cut off the first second of audio from videos. The range isn't quite as they market it. With doors open I am able to go from my studio to my kitchen (the door points directly to the kitchen) which is about 9-11mts away before sound starts cracking. This is, using the dongle. ... show more

  • I bought these for work, and they were a real improvement over the provided headphones!
Pattern: USB-A Bluetooth Adapter Style: Headset + Charge Stand
I work in a senior client support engineer role. The headphones provided us, though a name brand, left a lot to be desired. Clients complained of not hearing well, of too much noise in the background, and the sound quality for those other headphones was poor. They were also very finicky in connecting and this was a constant issue. So I finally just decided to buy something better on my own (which I can use at home as well). These Voyager Focus 2 headphones made significant improvements on all of the issues stated above. The only area of disappointment, though not a deal breaker, was the distance you could use these from your station/desk/computer. It was less than I would have liked. But can I recommend these? I like them and am glad that I made the purchase, so that's an easy, yes :) Good luck. ... show more
