Made in the USA and easy to put up. Plastic pegs will last as long at the shutters will look decent. I just used each old shutter as a template to drill holes in each one, in case the holes were not originally predrilled.

I suppose they might be paintable with some work. I tried using Behr exterior stain and primer. However, it just constantly peels off. Not necessarily a problem with these. They seem to look good and as though they would hold up well. However, I wouldn't get them with the idea of painting them unless you want to do a lot more prep work. ... show more

We just did siding on our house and they only put shutters on the front of the house not on the back of the house so we decided we wanted to put them on the back of house too well that looks beautiful my husband also loves that the screws have caps so you won't see the screws cuz once you're done screwing it too the house you just push the cap on it and it meshes with the shutters can't even tell there's a nail there but absolutely beautiful ... show more
