These might actually by my most favorite pair of footwear that I own right now. They're not quite matte black, but they're also not exactly grey... they're somewhere in-between. They're incredibly stylish and comfortable, and the zippered sides make them very easy to slip on and off. They go with virtually anything. I can't speak 100% on the durability/longevity of these boots, as I haven't had them very long or worn them a lot, but so far they've been holding up extremely well. They probably have a little over 100 hours worth of wear on them right now.

A friend of mine showed up one morning wearing a pair of really nice boots _which I learned later is made by Taft shoes. I went to their website and was surprised to learn that they cost about $300! So I went to Amazon to see if they have a more affordable model. Nope. They didn't have any. However, they did show Polar Fox Brooke shoes which look similar to Taft but cost only $70! So I took a chance and ordered a pair. It's been 2 weeks now that I've worn these shoes and I must admit, they're extremely comfortable and light. Perfect for the Nashville summer weather! As far as durability, I can't comment on that yet. They are double stitched and seem to have been made to last. We'll see. But for now, they're great, comfortable, light, fashionable, and affordable!

Look these are inexpensive boots. They look great and are inexpensive. You can tell they are not meant to be long term boots, I’d say a year or so. I’d get them again because for the price, it’s a good deal

These are beautiful enough for a female, so I bought!! Really love them. I was a little leary as I saw some review saying they fell apart. 1.) You don’t wear the exact same boots or shoes every day of the week. 2.) I hold my feet up when zip/unzipping to prevent zipper stress 3.) I wear them once every three weeks, and they’ve held up fine. I’d like to have another pair in this brand—I think the flannel boots look really sharp
