I bought this mat for my 11-year-old daughter for Christmas after seeing the excellent reviews. She loves it and has used it daily to do gymnastics and practice her back handsprings. After less than a month of use, it is ripping significantly along the seams. We have taped the seam to try and prevent further ripping, but it continues to spread. The mat has only been used in our living room (never outdoors) and never with shoes on. Otherwise, it is a great mat. It is firm and portable and seemed like a wonderful deal. UPDATE 2/13/19: After contacting customer support about the ripped seams, I was sent a replacement mat free of charge! I was very pleased with the response. It's great to see a company that stands behind its product and is willing to make it right for the customer. We will see how the new mat holds up! ... show more

We bought two of these mats and connected them with the attached Velcro. We have a 5 year old, 10 month old, and infant and we wanted a place in the living room (to cover our tile floors) that we could all be on.
